L'attività Corcovado riguarda al 100% l'avventura, il collegamento con la natura e il godimento di una giungla unica. Il tour è unico, cammini tra i 18 ei 20 km, osservando diversi ambienti, foreste primarie e secondarie, nuotando nel fiume e nella cascata. La nostra specialità è cercare percorsi non tradizionali, uscire dalla nostra zona di comfort ed entrare nella parte più selvaggia del Corcovado. A partire dalle 6:00, ritorno verso le 15:00 o le 16:00.

Unique experience of the real costa rican jungle! We were the only one with our group of 4 people. Yen was very enthusiastic together with a good balance between explaining and enjoying nature. We would definetly book this trip again. If you like hiking and adventure you cannot skip this tour in corcocado.

Great adventure and loved the waterfall visit. Was an amazing chance to hike through the jungle without the crowds. We managed to encounter some spider monkeys too as well as a lot of birds.

The hike in the primary rainforest with our guide, Yen, was a fantastic adventure. Just the right mix of physical challenge, varied trails, nature experiences and group fun. Our guide was super likeable, motivating, humorous, communicative and we learned a lot about the native flora and fauna. It was a great experience and we mastered what was described as the “most difficult tour in the area” well and were rewarded with a refreshing waterfall bath at the end. The homecooked lunchbox belonging to the tour was super delicious and we felt very well looked after and cared for. We would go on a hike with yen again at any time. Highly recommended!

This was an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. We had a fully confirmed and paid booking for the “Full Day Adventure Corcovado” tour (with ticket, QR code, and scheduled time at 06:00). Based on this confirmation, we made significant travel arrangements, including driving all the way from Panama, paying for car rental and accommodation, and staying awake overnight to arrive on time. However, upon arrival, we were told that the tour was already full and that they could not take us. This is completely unacceptable. If there was no availability, the booking should never have been confirmed or charged in the first place. What made the situation worse: * No proper notification via phone or email * No official cancellation * Last-minute message that was unreliable and easy to miss * No responsibility taken for the inconvenience caused This resulted in financial loss, wasted time, and physical exhaustion. A confirmed booking should guarantee a spot. Failing to honor it shows very poor management and lack of professionalism. I strongly advise future customers to be cautious when booking with this company.
Hi Anne, To explain what happened to other travelers, these people booked through a website called Get Your Guide at 5:00 pm the day before the tour. At 5:30 pm, we sent a message through that same website informing them that the tour was not available for the following day. When they started the booking process through Get Your Guide, it clearly stated that the tour was subject to availability, something they didn't take seriously, and they also didn't read our message sent 30 minutes after their booking. We are very sorry that you made the bad decision to make a last-minute booking, when most websites and places that talk about Corcovado mention the importance of booking in advance. I am completely sure that you tried many ways to book and couldn't, until you came across this website which, despite warning you that the tour is subject to availability, allows you to continue the booking. We had no information that you were traveling from Panama, that you had to drive at night, or that you had to book hotels. THEY DID NOT CONTACT US at any time! You simply made a reservation through one of those sites that, as is widely known, don't care about anything—neither the users nor the companies; they only care about making sales. We will not be held responsible in any way for your hasty and unsupported decisions. We have taken action on this matter and removed the option to book through GetYourGuide to avoid problems for ourselves with these types of people who decide at the last minute to book activities without reading the information (it states that the tour is subject to availability) and without communicating. Then they leave a comment, as in this case, without even having done the activity! Users make poor decisions, and companies pay the consequences! From our end, the only thing we can do is eliminate the possibility of booking through that website (GETYOURGUIDE). The few times we've had bookings through there, users read the message that it's subject to availability and immediately contact us asking if it's possible. We hadn't had this problem before, but as a result, we'll remove it.
Very tough adventurous hike, sometimes suffering, but very well arranged. Our top guide Yen gave the hike 4 levels, so we knew what we were in for. The breaks were fun, swimming under the waterfall. All in all a very tough hike, but with all praise for our guide Yen.

Pure plant world exploration, hiking grade 4 out of 5. Conditions are supposed to be good. There is no safety on the climbing slope. Ggeit do not carry safety/first aid equipment or radio, Mobile network not accessible. Very nice forest. Route 16.5 km.b at 28-32 degrees.

We would like to clarify a few points, This Full Day Adventure is designed as a deep exploration of the primary rainforest, focusing on trekking through some of the wildest and most untouched areas of Corcovado. It is intended for travelers who enjoy hiking and immersion in nature, rather than wildlife observation, and it does require good physical condition. There are no via ferrata sections on this route, it is purely trekking, so no specialized climbing equipment is needed. However, depending on the season, especially during the rainy months, we do carry specific equipment and adapt routes as river levels and conditions change. Our team has extensive experience in this particular environment and we always operate with safety and planning in mind. Regarding distance, we always explain that it is approximate (the hike is aprox 18km), as GPS devices are not reliable in such dense rainforest conditions and often provide inaccurate readings. As you mentioned, it is indeed a beautiful forest, and this experience is about embracing the heat, the effort, and the connection with a very ancient ecosystem. We are glad you had the opportunity to explore it with us and appreciate you sharing your perspective!!
A fantastic experience in truly beautiful, untouched nature. The trail itself is exciting and varied, leading through dense rainforest, across small streams and rivers - sometimes the stream is the trail-, and along scenic viewpoints. Our guide was very knowledgeable, passioned about his work and shared lots of interesting insights about the wildlife and plants along the way. He also had a great sense of humor, which made the hike even more enjoyable. That said, this hike is definitely demanding. You should be reasonably fit, have good endurance, and be prepared for a real adventure in nature. If you enjoy being deep in the rainforest and don’t mind a physical challenge, this is an unforgettable experience.
