Our guide Adem provided us with a video of the pick up location and was there to meet us on time. We boarded a very nice air conditioned van/small bus and were transported smoothly to Ephesus. Adem was an excellent guide, friendly and a wealth of information as he walked us through Ephesus and the terrace homes. After the visit to Ephesus, we were taken to an excellent and authentic Turkish lunch cooked by Turkish ladies. After lunch we were treated to a drink of our choice, a demonstration of how Turkish rugs are made, then a sales presentation because we were interested in seeing the rugs that were for sale. Upon leaving this shop we requested to be taken to a store to purchase Baklava and Turkish delight. The store was amazing with samples of every type of Turkish Delight imaginable. We were then taken back to our ship with time to spare. Well done Adem! We highly recommend this tour!
This tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Adam, was a wealth of knowledge and guided us the whole way through. We learned a ton! The Turkish lunch was amazing as well, and as a bonus, we got to learn about the history of weaving rugs, and they were nice enough to take us by a factory where we got to sample Turkish Delights to our heart’s content. 100% recommend this tour!
