Da Heraklion e Malia: serata folcloristica cretese con buffet

We had an appointment at 7 p.m., the day before, the time was changed to 5 p.m. Normally the activity was scheduled in French. The driver picked up English and French speakers, according to the guide, there was no more room in their bus. The trip lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes!!!! and the return as well, which made for 5 hours of travel!!!!! furthermore the minibus must not have had any shock absorbers and for the return it was even worse, because the driver was driving fast, he must have been in a hurry to get back. Needless to say that we had back pain for 2 days, absolutely unacceptable... The meal was mediocre, practically no Cretan specialties, and since there must have been about a hundred English speakers, the commentary was in English... We had chosen this activity because it was supposedly in French... I am giving it 3 stars and that is being generous. Fortunately the group of dancers was very good, for them I am giving 5 stars. In conclusion, I really do not understand why nothing is respected.

A long drive, average show, too many people, no conviviality, a mediocre buffet, depending on when you get more food,. I wouldn't recommend it, I wouldn't do it again.

I would spend double the money or even triple to not have a 6 hour round trip bus ride, better food and more professional entertainment. It is not the performers fault as they seem young and inexperienced. I think the proper expectations should be set for a more rookie type show with basic foods. They also ran out very quickly and had some frustrated patrons. It’s not worth the time invested though the hosts were excellent.

The evening was very enjoyable. Loved hearing the music and seeing the dances from different areas of Greece. Food and wine were delicious and plentiful. Downside to the event was how long it took to get there. My ride was a total of 2.5 hours. I was solo. So with others I'm assuming it would not have felt so long.

A nice evening with Cretan music. The food is simple but good. It is mainly the dancers who make the evening more than worthwhile.

One word: SENSATIONAL!!! An experience that I want to repeat... The succulent food. Magic, charm and lots of fun.

Overall not the best experience. On the positive side the journey up into the mountains to reach our destination was quite spectacular in the evening sun. Food was varied and of good quality. The entertainment was done with skill, enthusiasm and passion and well worth the ticket price. On the negative side the journey time from pickup to destination was nearly 90 minutes and very convoluted. With very narrow lanes and roads you had to admire the drivers handling of his coach. When we arrived at the venue it was at best organised chaos with jam packed tables squeezed into every available space. Our tour guide could have been more helpful at this point rather than just waving at tables to indicate where we could sit. Would I do this trip again? Possibly but I would review other options from other tour operators first.

Great experience. What made us particularly happy was that we were able to swap buses for part of the trip to be in one with our friends. Also otherwise very well organized and punctual. Elafonissi beach was also very nice
