Questa escursione di mezza giornata a Moray e Minas de Sal ti consente di avventurarti in una parte della Valle Sacra, in splendidi terreni agricoli fuori Cusco e vicino all'antica città andina di Chinchero. Visiterai i seguenti siti: Centro tessile andino a Chinchero, Moray, villaggio di Maras e miniere di sale.

Vi verremo a prendere al vostro hotel tra le 8:20 e le 8:40 e ci dirigeremo a Chinchero, situato a 3.762 metri di altezza.
Apprezzeremo il mercato tradizionale, dove si pratica il baratto, visiteremo il laboratorio di tessitura lì le persone locali che praticano ancora la tradizione QUECHUA, ci mostreranno come ottengono i colori dalle piante naturali e potrai scattare belle foto vestiti con abiti andini vestiti (A questo punto visiterai solo parte della città di Chinchero e un centro tessile andino.)
Continuiamo verso MORAY situato a (3.450 m/11.318 piedi) dove troviamo i terrazzamenti agricoli con il loro complesso sistema di irrigazione e terrazzamenti, diversi livelli di terrazzamenti sono scavati in un'enorme conca, parte della quale fu ulteriormente scavata dagli Inca, si pensa che fossero utilizzati dagli Inca per scoprire le condizioni ottimali di crescita per i loro raccolti, queste terrazze servivano come serra naturale per coltivare una straordinaria varietà di colture ad un'altitudine normalmente non favorevole per i raccolti, gli Inca erano molto avanzati nel conoscenza della creazione di sottoclimi specifici.
Poi siamo sulla strada per le miniere di sale, lungo la strada vedremo il villaggio di Maras dove è ancora conservata la sua bellezza architettonica coloniale, vedrai che gli edifici sono di pietra sottile, poi ci spostiamo a Salineras, la miniera di sale è composta da 3000 piccoli piscine, ogni tre giorni, durante la stagione secca, i lavoratori riempiono le piscine con acqua salata che proviene da sorgenti termali naturali, questo luogo è stato utilizzato fin dall'epoca pre-Inca fino ai giorni nostri, il sale viene macinato, trattato con iodio confezionato e inviato a vari mercati della regione.
Infine, tornerai a Cusco (intorno alle 15:15 nei pressi di Plaza de Armas) in tempo per pranzare liberamente.

Ti verremo a prendere tra le 8:20 e le 8:50, dipende dalla posizione del tuo alloggio. Un giorno prima coordineremo l'orario esatto del ritiro, se sei fuori dal luogo di ritiro possiamo venirti a prendere a Plaza de Armas (piazza principale di Cusco). Il nostro staff chiederà di te alla reception.

The view with Ruben and Jaime was wonderful! Ruben is very passionate about explaining everything that surrounds us, not just the places visited, but also the culture that surrounds us in these places, you can see that he really likes what he does! The bus trip was calm, Jaime is an excellent driver! Two people during the trip were not feeling well due to altitude sickness and Ruben and Jaime helped them a lot, with agua florida, blankets. The proposed activities are very interesting and the local inhabitants and the businesses are very kind and helpful! Highly recommended
An excellent tour that looks at three interesting areas. The textiles demonstration in Chichero was brilliant and a real surprise - the family working there were wonderful hosts and it was really interesting to see the traditional techniques used to spin, dye and weave. The visit to the salt mine was also really interesting. Only suggestion would be to include a lunch stop as it’s definitely more of a whole day rather than a half day trip, leaving at 8.30 and returning at 3.30

The tour was spectacular, the guide Hipólito was very charismatic and kind, he was always attentive to whatever you needed and was very interested in making sure you learned about the history. Very organized and everything on time, I would definitely recommend this tour.

Hipo did a fantastic job leading the tour. I loved the salt mines, agricultural site, and the weavers. If you’re interested in purchasing authentic Peruvian textiles keep in mind they accept credit card as well. Never felt rushed at all. Highly recommend this service to anyone as a day trip from Cusco (it says half day but it’s pretty much a full day).
