Loch Ness Photo Opportunity - Loch Ness è un grande e profondo lago di acqua dolce nelle Highlands scozzesi, meglio conosciuto per presunti avvistamenti del mostro di Loch Ness criptozoologico, noto anche affettuosamente come "Nessie". Ci fermeremo per una breve passeggiata lungo le rive del lago di Loch Ness, faremo alcune foto dei fantastici paesaggi e magari cattureremo il mostro per una nuotata mattutina.
La prossima fermata è il magnifico Castello di Urquhart, sulla riva di Loch Ness, Ammirerai l'ambientazione strategica del castello, su un promontorio roccioso con vista aperta su e giù per Loch Ness mentre continui a immergerti nell'atmosfera di uno dei più famosi della Scozia laghi.
In viaggio verso Ft Augustus Situato sulla punta più meridionale di Loch Ness sulla Great Glen Way, questo borgo storico e panoramico è una destinazione turistica molto popolare. Adagiato sull'imponente Canale di Caledonia, lungo circa 60 miglia, a metà strada tra Inverness e Fort William, Fort Augustus offre una vista spettacolare su Loch Ness, i visitatori possono anche visitare il Caledonian Canal Heritage Centre che racconta la storia del canale. This tour, which normally is for four people, was with just my husband and myself and our guide, Billy. We left from Inverness and traveled along the lochs in the Highlands region of north, central Scotland. We went all the way down to Glencoe, and then back up to Inverness. Billy was able to find unique and special stops for us along the way. He understood that we would be competing with other tour groups, especially the big bus tours, so many of his stops were in places those buses could not go. His style was informal and relaxed, but very informed. He was willing to let us make changes to our schedule based on our desires, but he let us know what was possible due to our requests. We felt like VIPs and truly enjoyed the entire day! We would highly recommend his tour!
Martin was our tour guide. He did a great job and was very alert to our interests. From the very beginning he was weaving some of our personal desires with the tour plan. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a running commentary on relevant history throughout the day
The scenery was gorgeous. Billy was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Would have liked the option to stop at a pub for lunch since it was a long day
Billy was an amazing guide. Our group included someone 89 years old and another not feeling great (and he stopped at 3 pharmacies until one had her prescribed medication). He modified our tour to be a little shorter and less strenuous yet we saw countless fascinating and gorgeous sights. Loved the 7 heads well - creepy and cool! We were all blown away by the Glencoe landscapes - breathtaking. Wonderful guide and special day.
Our Guide Billy MacKenzie was fabulous. He went above and beyond for our tour. He was friendly responsive and gave us so much information on attractions we viewed. We recommend him highly.
This was a magical tour experience! Turned out to be a private tour with Michael and felt like we were on a road trip with a friend. He went above and beyond every step of the way. Would highly recommend and gladly go on other tours with them.
This was a fantastic tour. Michael was our guide and FAR exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this tour group to anyone and would not hesitate to contact them again if I'm ever back.
This to our delight turned out to be a private tour! 3 of us but paid for 4 to lock in this tour since 4 is the minimum. We'll worth it! Plus was smaller van, very comfortable and was perfect to go where bigger buses could not. Billy our guide was a delight and was very accommodating giving extra time at stops and filling us in on the interesting history. We highly recommend this excursion! We had a wonderful time and the scenery was amazing!
Billy provided a private tour for my grandson, my son and myself. The scenery was spectacular especially in Glencoe.
Visited for a 60th Birthday Holiday delayed due to the Pandemic.. A fantastic place to visit with amazing views of the Loch and Ben Nevis. Stayed in Banavie, near the Neptune Staircase Locks. We booked on the Jacobite Steam Train to Mallaig. Plenty of parking spaces near the railway station only £4 for 10 hours. Great Value for a Tourist destination. We will be back as we loved it so much. A great journey up through Glencoe with some fantastic views and photo opportunities.
