Situata in Piazza del Duomo, nel cuore di Firenze, si trova la gloriosa Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, sormontata dalla cupola del Brunelleschi, un vero capolavoro di ingegneria. Nella piazza si possono ammirare anche il Battistero e il Campanile di Giotto, accomunati da stili decorativi simili nei colori verde, bianco e rosa.
Creata come parte di un progetto di drastici cambiamenti nel centro storico di Firenze alla fine del 1800, oggi Piazza della Repubblica è piena di caffè, terrazze e negozi, a ricordare le sue antiche origini come sede del foro romano.
La piazza è il punto principale dell'origine e della storia della Repubblica Fiorentina e mantiene ancora oggi la reputazione di fulcro politico della città. La piazza è circondata da Palazzo Vecchio (il municipio della città), dalla Galleria degli Uffizi e dalla Loggia della Signoria - una galleria di sculture all'aperto di arte antica e rinascimentale.
Questo ponte medievale in pietra fu l'unico ponte di Firenze risparmiato dalla distruzione durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Caratteristiche sono le botteghe costruite ai suoi lati, un tempo pratica comune: oggi macellai, contadini e conciatori di un tempo sono ora sostituiti da gioiellieri, mercanti d'arte e venditori di souvenir.
Visita il sito patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO "Piazza dei Miracoli" a Pisa. Qui avrai il tempo di scoprire e ammirare monumenti universalmente conosciuti come la Torre Pendente di Pisa, il Duomo di Pisa, il Battistero di Pisa e il Camposanto Monumentale, tutti magnifici esempi di architettura romanica.
Il campanile, conosciuto come Torre Pendente di Pisa, è in assoluto l'edificio più famoso all'interno della "Piazza dei Miracoli". Iniziata nel 1173, la torre è inclinata fin dall'inizio della sua costruzione ed è ampiamente riconosciuta come un'eccezionale opera di ingegneria. Puoi ammirare questo spettacolare monumento da terra o salendo i 273 gradini fino alla cima, da dove potrai ammirare una splendida vista sui dintorni.

Booked this excursion for 4 adults. We were picked up at the port and had the same driver for the entire time and a dedicated tour guide for the walking tour of Florence. Just the four of us! Great pictures at Pisa. Sis and B-I-L went in the Baptistry. Hubs and I enjoyed a coffee at a cafe. Tour guide in Florence was excellent. Giacomo was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed his insights. Had time for lunch at the rooftop restaurant in Florence. Back to the ship with no worries about time. Highly recommend!

Adriana was our tour guide in Florence and she was absolutely amazing! In a short period of time we walked through Florence and avoided crowds, tried amazing food and gelato at more lowkey spots and she was funny and engaging the whole time. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Europe. Also our driver Francesco was so accommodating and got us safely to and from our destinations quickly while navigating crazy weather. 5/5!
Small number of participants (5), a great driver and guide that set a nice pace. Go to Pisa for the tower, Florence for the beauty and much smaller crowds than our other stops.
Our driver and tour guide were both professional, knowledgeable and punctual. They were very empathetic and accommodating to a family that came ill-prepared to walk on the cobblestone streets of Europe, pointing out places to go to get out of the heat while the rest of us toured these beautiful cities. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic as he safely guided us to key areas while explaining the history of what we were seeing. They kept track of time, ensuring we returned to our cruise ship on time. It was a most enjoyable day. Just an FYI: I would suggest that if you are unable to walk long distances or walk on uneven surfaces this may not be the tour for you.
Well worth the time. We were looking for a good balance between walking and driving, and this was perfect. Our driver to Pisa and Florence, Micheal, was very friendly and informative. Our walking guide in Florence, jacamo (sp?), was also very friendly and informative. This tour takes you to the key sites and provides relevant information, however, it does not provide tickets to anywhere on the tour, which is what we expected. This is a quick way to visit places, and that was important to us since we wanted to get back to Livorno to board our cruise ship with plenty of time. To improve, add another 30 min in Pisa.
We had a fantastic tour! Starting from our incredible driver Simone who showed us a great time and made sure we were hydrated and always on time at all of our destinations. His English was excellent and we truly enjoyed Pisa and Florence. Our tour guide was wonderful too. We highly recommend this tour!
