La Basilica della Santissima Trinità è una basilica più piccola situata nel luogo di Cova da Iria, nella parrocchia e nella città di Fatima. È una grande chiesa dedicata alla Santissima Trinità, appartenente al complesso del Santuario di Fatima, con 8 633 posti e 40.000 m² di superficie. Il progetto è stato scritto dall'architetto greco Alexandros Tombazis. È stato inaugurato il 12 ottobre 2007 dal Segretario di Stato Vaticano, il Cardinale Tarcisio Bertone, in occasione del 90 ° anniversario delle apparizioni della Vergine Maria a Fatima.
Il Santuario di Fatima, nominato ufficialmente dalla Chiesa cattolica come Santuario di Nostra Signora del Rosario di Fatima, è un santuario mariano dedicato a Nostra Signora di Fatima, situato sul sito della Cova da Iria, nella città di Fatima, Ourém, Portogallo . I enjoyed the drive and the tour of the factory that supplies Virgin Mary statues and other religious items. Seeing Fatima was an important goal for me while travelling in Portugal. The time provided even though 1 hour 15 minutes - it just isn’t long enough. The driver was great and very pleasant. Just wished we had more time. If you want to enjoy a mass - I think 2 hours is needed.
