Gurmeet, was polite and helpful, but he is a driver, not a tour guide. He offered very little during our three hours together, mainly things like, ‘that’s the highline’ - offering nothing about its origins or significance. during our three hours together he was silent for about 2 hours 45 minutes. You promised a tour, but this was a quiet drive. Very disappointed, but it’s not Gurmeet’s problem, you did not train him or you intentionally sent a driver, not a tour guide! We had to ask what neighborhoods we were driving through. You have an obligation to him and us to have used everyone’s time and money to the intended purpose. I hope no one else experiences this disappointment with your service. I don’t want this review posted, I want you to learn something from it and apologize to us and Gurmeet.

The role of the driver is to provide safe, comfortable transportation and assist with navigating the city, rather than delivering detailed historical or guided commentary. That said, we sincerely regret that this distinction was not as clear as it should have been and that it led to disappointment during your time with us. We apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the nature of the service, and we take responsibility for ensuring our listings communicate expectations as clearly as possible. We appreciate your thoughtful comments, which we are using internally to review how we present this experience and how we better prepare both our guests and our drivers going forward. Needed to schedule a trip at the last minute from suburban Phila to Manhattan. Have used Jet Black for years for airport trips from Manhattan to JFK or EWR. Took a chance that we would be able to secure our trip with Jet Black. They came through on short notice and we had a great driver peter.
