Guarda da vicino il volto del ghiacciaio Portage sulla nave da crociera Ptarmigan. Ammira fino a 14 ghiacciai incastonati tra aspre montagne della Foresta Nazionale Chugach, che formano l'Anello dei Ghiacciai. Questa crociera, può essere aggiornata per un costo aggiuntivo che non è incluso nel costo regolare del tour. Be prepared for rain and clouds. It rained the whole day. With that said, the scenery was. Amazing. The tour guide, Grace, was awesome giving lot of great information about Alaska. A lot of cool Stops along the way. Age lunch at a very good restaurant. It was a good day!!!
Highly recommend!! Pic Tours, Thank you so so much for the best day yesterday!! Our tour guide, Grace, was honestly such a gift...made our first day in Alaska so memorable! We were amazed at the stories she could tell and the facts she had memorized! So so knowledgeable and it was obviously her passion! We saw so much of the Turnagain Arm, the Conservation Center was fascinating as we learned about so many native animals (that bear!!), and we loved the boat to the Portage Glacier! Highly recommend that add-on to the tour! Thanks again for a well planned tour and the best guide ever! Prospective travelers, book the tour!!
The tour guide James was awesome. He showed us many great points of interest and was very knowledgeable.
James was an amazing guide! We had an awesome time looking for wildlife, seeing Portage Glacier, and visiting the animals at the conservation center. I would do this tour again.
Our guide was James- he was very knowledgeable and gave us great tips on how to take photos which looked the best. I appreciated all the info about the history of the area, nature and wildlife. I especially liked that James was not too verbose but kept the info efficient and succinct to keep the attention of my children as well, we all learned a little and enjoyed the experience very much. It’s an intimate group, be prepared to make friends with the group. You may want to carry snacks with you, they provide water in the van.

This was a great tour to see anchorage area wildlife and glacier. James was super friendly and knowledagable. The tour stops at the wild life center and glacier cruise. I would recommend this tour and james. Pic tours are great and the pictures by the guides are goid and shared with the group.
We enjoyed our tour with James he was super knowlegeable and really friendly. The tour cover some of the area sites to see wildlife and scenery. The glacier cruise was well worth the trip alone.
Aaron did everything he could to ensure we had a great experience. He is exceptional about spotting wildlife and knowledge about the history and significance of the areas we visited. He was so kind and made an effort to show us unique areas, he even turned around once he spotted a black bear and her cubs so we could get a better view of them. He is truly a fantastic guide!!

We thank you for sharing your thoughts about this excursion. At times we have found visitors to be less than satisfied due to our far North West Pacific weather. Our area is surrounded by wilderness and possess an abundance of wildlife and geological wonders such as glaciers. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee all sightings will be viewed since conditions varies by season, ocean tides, safety, third party groups and powerful Alaska weather conditions that can be mild-to-harsh year round.
