Elencato come patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO dal 2001 e spazzato dagli alisei, a circa 175 km a ovest di Marrakech, si trova la piccola città portuale fortificata bianca e blu di Essaouira, "l'ex Mogador", con i suoi bastioni Vauban e la sua medina " La Mecca degli Hippy negli anni '70 ”... Famosa per il suo passato storico come ex stazione commerciale e, vera fonte di ispirazione, attira artisti da tutto il mondo, amanti dell'autenticità, della cultura e della raffinatezza, tra cui pittori, scrittori, cineasti (Orson Welles per "Otello") .. e molti musicisti, soprattutto durante il suo entusiasmante festival musicale di Gnaoua a giugno ... Essaouira si distingue anche per l'intarsio del thuja, legni pregiati il cui profumo sottile si diffonde nei vicoli della medina e nella mellah, il quartiere ebraico, con i suoi negozi a volta dove regnano armonia e leggerezza ... per il piacere della caccia all'affare, il 5 sensi in allerta ...

Puoi anche visitare una delle cooperative petrolifere di argan (un albero unico al mondo, classificato dall'UNESCO come patrimonio universale, che cresce nella regione di Souss, ad Agadir-Essaouira) detenuto solo da donne.
Possiamo fermarci a vedere il famoso albero di Argan dove le capre si arrampicano sui rami bassi e si nutrono. A volte ci sono fino a 20 capre seduti su un albero. È un must assoluto quando si tratta di ottenere un'opportunità fotografica e un sospiro affascinante

Did not turn up and no response via Viator app chat from tour company, no response on WhatsApp direct with tour company, do not book will take money and run

Great to visit in one day,firstly great price at 25$ per person for a 2 hre ride ,see the arid landscape,argan oil trees plantation,stop at production woman cooperative ( very high prices wait to souk to buy) arrive at essaouira walk on beach,see tour and birds and kids swimming,visit lively souk with white & blue kiosks,enjoy fresh fish at restaurant.Great dzy,some use it for transport from Marrakesh to Essaouira or Essaouiara to Marrakesh because of low fare but have to travel light.
Do not do this tour if you have a tight schedule and have to be back in Marrakech by an exact time. Tour was meant to start at 8, we were not picked up until 830, and did not leave Marrakech until 10am. During the pickup, the driver got into an altercation with someone on the street and punches were thrown, and people were hitting the bus - somewhat a scary experience. In addition, I had selected English tour, but the driver spoke French and everyone else on the bus spoke French. We made 2 stops along the way - one for a drink/bathroom, the other for Argan oil, of which there was reference of goats in trees - they don’t exist. We arrived in Essaouira around 1pm, and we left at 5pm. We had a stop at the drink / bathroom location on the way back, but did not get back to Marrakech until 830pm.
A beautiful day in essaouira where we had time to enjoy the city, the driver picked us up at our hotel at the indicated time and dropped us off in the evening.

Good Price quality ratio for this excursion to Essaouira Mogador. The price mainly includes return transport from Marrakech with a stop at the Argan cooperative (purely commercial stop). The city is well worth the trip (2h30 drive). On site, take advantage of this visit to enjoy a fish dish in a real restaurant. Our driver who did not show up was driving recklessly. He did not deny putting his foot forward to help an elderly lady downhill. One last tip: do not take the seats in the back of the minibus as the road has many imperfections, you would be a bit “shaken”.

We went with Brahim to Essaouira and Orika. It has been very good recommendations of the destinations and Brahim has been explaining things along the way and has made the journey very enjoyable. He has been everywhere in Morocco and knows everything. He is also a quiet, formal and very polite person, I get to wait for some trips a long time and then they did not come. Punctuality is very important for them to know. I definitely recommend traveling with him, in fact we plan to inchalah another trip with him. Greetings, Zouhair

Great value for money. Departure at 9 am near piazza j fnaa, return at about 18. On the way out the two planned stops at the goat tree and the argan cooperative. Restart 17. In any case, about 4h in Essaouira is enough to go around the Medina independently.
