Il tour inizia in un monumento religioso del XII secolo nel cuore della Medina di Marrakech, Jemaa el Fna. Da lì, sarai guidato attraverso una breve storia del Marocco, seguita da approfondimenti su Marrakech e sulla Moschea della Koutoubia.
Mellah è il quartiere ebraico dove la guida turistica spiegherà i diversi tipi di edifici a Marrakech (case ebraiche e musulmane) e avrà un'idea generale delle direzioni all'interno della Medina. Ci vorranno circa 10 minuti qui, poi cammina fino al Palazzo Bahia che è vicino (meno di 2 minuti).

Palazzo Bahia era il palazzo più sorprendente in quel momento ed è di circa 8 ettari; spazioso, ben arredato e bello. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace ruins and the Souk. Amayyur is a history scholar and gave a detailed and fascinating explanation of the development of North Africa through the centuries. His guided tour through the Souk was excellent. He also gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants.

We had a wonderful day touring Marrakech with Brahim, who taught us so much about the history, languages, culture, and cuisines of Marrakech and Morocco! We explored Palaces, Souks, and the Medina, stopping for some delicious local food and we got to buy some mint tea, too.
