Ti porteremo in un romantico castello da favola che è la dimora storica dei Conti e dei Duchi di Sutherland. Il magnifico Castello di Dunrobin (soprannominato il Castello delle fiabe) con la vicina città medievale di Dornoch ha una caratteristica collettiva che può portarti in un'esperienza da libro di fiabe. Ad aggiungerne il sapore sarebbe una degustazione in una distilleria di fama mondiale in questa parte nascosta del mondo. Conosci storie interessanti sulla cultura delle Highland, sui tartan, sui kilt, sul folklore e altro ancora. Questo è il nostro tour stagionale dal mese di aprile a ottobre. Prenota in anticipo per garantire la data del tour. Un'ora di macchina a nord è un romantico castello da favola che è la dimora storica dei Conti e Duchi di Sutherland. Mentre attraversiamo le sue porte, puoi immaginarti in una carrozza mentre ti avvicini al castello con le sue grandi torrette. Godetevi entrare in una vasta gamma di splendore all'interno delle sue mura, giardini e terreni. Uno spettacolo di falconeria nel loro giardino è assolutamente da vedere.
Ci fermeremo a Skelbo Castle rimane proprio di fronte a Loch Fleet per vedere se ci sono foche che oziano in lontananza.
Pranza nella pittoresca cittadina medievale di Dornoch. Visita la Cattedrale dove la famosa cantante Madonna fece battezzare suo figlio. I negozi e i caffè locali qui sono una delizia per molti.
Dopo pranzo, puoi fare una passeggiata lungo la spiaggia di Dornoch accanto al famoso Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
Visiteremo quindi una distilleria di whisky famosa in tutto il mondo: la "Valle della tranquillità". Con oltre 175 anni di affinamento della loro arte, producono distillati fruttati e più delicati utilizzando gli alambicchi più alti della Scozia. Offrono il loro rispettivo tour per mostrare come viene prodotto il loro whisky e per consentire ai visitatori di assaggiare il sapore distinto del loro whisky a un costo aggiuntivo. Lasciamo a te la decisione in quanto puoi in alternativa scegliere di passeggiare semplicemente per i loro splendidi giardini e goderti una degustazione a tuo piacimento nel loro accogliente bar.

- 1. I nostri tour sono privati. Questo tour richiede un minimo di 2 persone per prenotazione, massimo 7.
- 2. Un avviso di promemoria del tour ti verrà inviato alcuni giorni prima del tour. Sarà attraverso uno dei seguenti : Viator messaggio, e-mail, WhatsApp o iMessage dal + 44 7481 590163.
- 3. Offriamo pick-up e drop-off all'interno di Inverness o in rotta.
- 4. Indossare abiti adeguati e comodi. Si consigliano vivamente scarpe da trekking e giacche impermeabili. Bagagli/zaini sono benvenuti, ma lo spazio per i bagagli è limitato.
- 5. Puoi portare il pranzo o spuntini nel caso in cui perdiamo l'orario del pranzo dei ristoranti/bar.
- 6. I minori, gli anziani e le persone con bisogni speciali devono essere sempre accompagnati dai rispettivi tutori.
- 7. Chiediamo gentilmente a tutti i partecipanti di osservare un'attenta sensibilizzazione del pubblico, di rispettare l'ambiente, la fauna selvatica e le linee guida. Si prega di prestare attenzione all'impronta di carbonio durante il tour.
- 8. Per la sicurezza, il comfort e il benessere di tutti, non possiamo accogliere quanto segue: Bambini sotto i 5 anni ii. Assistenza sedia a rotelle/mobilità iii. Chiunque abbia condizioni di salute ad alto rischio (cioè in attesa di un bambino, sensazione di malessere o sintomi contagiosi come tosse, starnuti, raffreddore o naso che cola). Si prega di non tentare di unirsi al nostro tour se qualcuno nel vostro gruppo è malato, in convalescenza o ancora contagioso - il vostro gruppo sarà rifiutato il servizio senza un rimborso. In alternativa possiamo offrirvi un'altra data all'interno della stagione del tour (a seconda della disponibilità) IV. Qualsiasi comportamento scorretto in generale che presenti un pericolo per se stessi o per gli altri non sarà tollerato.
- 9. Non saremo ritenuti responsabili per eventuali incidenti, lesioni personali, danni o perdita di proprietà, mancati programmi di viaggio o eventuali appuntamenti successivi.
- 10. Le foto e i video ripresi durante i nostri tour potrebbero essere utilizzati per scopi promozionali.
- Se soffri di qualche condizione medica, non dimenticare di portare con te i farmaci prescritti o di prenderli prima dell'inizio del tour. Porta con te uno spray antizanzare se sei soggetto a punture di insetti durante l'estate, medicinali per la chinetosi, ecc. La tua salute, il tuo comfort e il tuo benessere dipenderanno alla fine da te.

John picked our family of 6 up at our hotel in Inverness, we piled into his comfy van, and we were off for a wonderful day in the Scottish Highlands! Visiting Dunrobin Castle was high on our wishlist, and it did not disappoint! The castle and gardens are stunning, and the falconry show was so much fun. The town of Dornoch was charming and we enjoyed delicious fish & chips there at the Surf&Turf! We enjoyed a flight of whiskies at Glenmorangie, and John even managed to squeeze in a quick visit to Culloden, which I've wanted to visit for so long. Some of our ancestors fought on that field, so visiting was very meaningful to me. (Thank you!) Throughout the drive John shared stories and history of the highlands...and some tasty samplings of fine whisky from his own collection. Was a grand day full of laughter, learning, and adventure!

The best day! Relaxing, fun, and informative. John of Aye Tours Scotland was the perfect tour guide and host. We were even able to change our custom itinerary in the middle of the tour day. Oh my, what can I say about John. We were fortunate to find this funny, interesting and knowledgeable tour guide for another tour to have in Scotland. We were on a tour with John in 2019 when he was with another tour company and went to Glencoe but has now started is own business which is wonderful for him. John is soooo much fun and is constantly entertaining both us and people we meet during our stops. His Highland garb definitely gets attention and he is both endearing and a great representative of Scotland. He was very attentive to our needs and ensured that we were provided with the best possible benefits at all locations we travelled. The fact that he provides mini drams of whisky tasty along the way is entertaining. We overheard someone on the train commenting on how they seen a tour where the guide was providing little tastings......I'm sure that was us....lol. Please note, John DOES NOT indulge in any way. This is totally for the benefit of the customer and I'm sure to his enjoyment on seeing our reactions.....especially to Laphroig. I HIGHLY recommend John as he is one of a kind.
