Il tour al ponte Inca Qeswachaka inizia con il prelievo dal tuo hotel dalle 4:30 alle 5:00. Continuando un viaggio di quasi due ore attraverso il sud di Cusco, visiteremo le quattro lagune. Dopo aver goduto di un momento di tranquillità vicino alle lagune, visiteremo il piccolo vulcano di Pabellones, che si trova vicino alla città di Yanaoca. Poi arriveremo all'imponente ponte Inca. Questo ponte sospeso Inca è fatto di fibra vegetale (Ichu) e si trova sul fiume Apurímac, nel distretto di Quehue. L'esistenza di questo ponte risale ai tempi degli Inca. La ristrutturazione e la manutenzione vengono eseguite una volta all'anno dalla popolazione locale delle quattro comunità circostanti. Prima di iniziare i lavori di ristrutturazione del ponte, viene fatta un'offerta in segno di rispetto e gratitudine verso Pachamama. Avremo l'opportunità di attraversare il ponte Inca su entrambi i lati. Ma attenzione, sembra facile, ma ci vuole coraggio.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Americo was a great guide. Mostly in Spanish (I don't speak spanish) but it didnt take anything away from the experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to Cusco. Bring motion sickness meds if you are prone to feeling ill. It is a lot of driving on very curvy roads. I forgot my meds and regretted it.
A great experience, we got to know the culture of the people living in the region and learned about the process of manufacturing the bridge

I loved meeting Victor who was responsible for helping to organize the building of the bridge each year. We saw beautiful flamingos!
Wally was amazing! Cool trip - we got to see the how they made the bridge from scratch from one of the people who helps rebuild it every year. Also got to take part in a coca ritual to the nature to grant us safe passage across the bridge. It's a long journey to get to, but a pretty cool story to be able to tell - thank you Wally!
