Scopri il famigerato passato di Sullivan's Island. Marcia intorno a Fort Moultrie. Visita il faro di Charleston. Guarda la USS Yorktown. Attraversa il porto di Charleston sul Water Taxi. Passeggia in questa tranquilla strada anteguerra del distretto di Wragg, dove sono successe così tante cose e così poco se ne rendono conto.
Questo molo ha avuto il suo periodo di massimo splendore negli anni '40 come uno dei primi parchi di divertimento della nazione. Rinnovato di recente, sei libero di vagare fino alla fine, o fare acquisti nel fantastico negozio sulla spiaggia (compresi gelati e hot dog) o persino prendere un margarita al Pier 101 Beach Bar (se aperto).
Escursione fino alla fine di Folly Beach per un incontro ravvicinato con il sesto faro più antico degli Stati Uniti. Questo include una passeggiata di andata e ritorno di 3/4 di miglio fino al faro. Dobbiamo attraversare una duna di sabbia per arrivare alla spiaggia.
Visiteremo questa quercia viva di John's Island di 400-500 anni.
L'unica e più antica casa di piantagione rimasta, nella sua forma originale. Anche se non visiteremo l'interno della casa, ci fermeremo per foto e lezioni di storia.
Attraversiamo la proprietà con una breve sosta per scattare una foto della casa del 1870 circa.
La più antica sala parrocchiale rimasta a sud della Virginia, si trova tra il muschio spagnolo e il cimitero della famiglia Drayton.
Questo collegio militare risale alla guerra civile. Alcuni dicono che l'hanno persino iniziato!
Cammina lungo la strada della stazione appena oltre il forte, fino alla spiaggia e ottieni una grande sorpresa!
Questa bellissima chiesa fu costruita nel 1830 per il Nucleo di Ingegneri dell'Esercito Irlandese che costruiva i forti dell'isola. Viaggia indietro nel tempo in questo testamento di sopravvivenza.

If you are looking to see a great portion of charleston this is your tour. Leanne picked us up at the location she stated in a very comfortable and clean van. We visited many famous and historic sites, all while Leanne explaining all the interesting facts about each site.. Leanne was very informative and pleasant. A great tour to go on!

This was a wonderful trip. You get to see and learn about many interesting places in Charleston. My favorite stop of the day was the Angel Tree.

We did not have a car, so this tour gave us a great amount of information outside of downtown. We got out and walked most places. The old oak is phenomenal. Leeann is great and full of facts about each area
My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. It was an awesome way to explore greater Charleston without renting a car. The Angel Oak Tree and Morris Island Lighthouse are really worth checking out. Leanne was an excellent tour guide and full of historical facts. My only complaint is that pictures were only taken on the tour guides phone. I would have preferred for them to be taken on mine so they would be easier to edit if needed. I would suggest offering this since groups are so small, or at the least take the photos on live. Thank you!
