Dopo il saluto, guidiamo verso Efeso Passeggiando per la storia lungo strade di marmo fiancheggiate da meravigliosi edifici pubblici, tra cui le Terme di Scolastica, la Biblioteca di Celso; fu costruito agli inizi del II secolo d.C. da Caio Giulio Aquila per commemorare il padre Caio Giulio Celso Polemanus, proconsole della Provincia dell'Asia. , il Tempio di Adriano e Il Gran Teatro sono due degli edifici più impressionanti di Efeso. Il grande teatro fu costruito nel III secolo a.C. e successivamente ampliato a 24.000 spettatori dai romani nel I secolo d.C.
Visita Terrace Houses si trova sulla gonna del monte Pion. Ci sono 6 unità abitative che sono state costruite su tre terrazze artificiali. Queste case furono abitate da ricchi cittadini di Efeso. Queste case erano decorate in modo molto fantasioso con affreschi murali e mosaici pavimentali. Ci sono molti gradini per salire dal basso verso l'alto. Non raccomandato per persone con difficoltà motorie e acrofobia (paura dell'altezza).
Ci fermeremo al tempio di Artemission, dove una delle sette meraviglie del mondo antico era la nostra ultima fermata prima di tornare al centro e al porto di Kusadasi. La fine dei nostri servizi.

Olgu was a great guide! Picked up at the pier from a cruise ship with them waiting for us with a sign in hand as promised and the Ephesus tour was great as well as seeing some interesting shops in the area.

Our guide was Mehmet Orkun, the best one. Very helpful and kind. He speskd very good english and he is always smiling. The tour was more pelasant because of him.

This tour was excellent. We were lucky that our small group tour ended up being a private tour for the two of us. Our guide, Emre, was outstanding. He gave us great information while touring Ephesus. He was a trained archaeologist and was excited that we were interested in history and was able to answer all of our questions and add additional information. We also appreciated that he handled the religious history in the context of archeology. We would also recommend adding the optional visit to the Terrace Houses while at Ephesus. He also gave us the option of visiting a family that makes Anatolian pottery (one of only 5 still doing this) and it was amazing to see and learn how the pottery is made.

Orkun was our guide, and he was absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly patient throughout the tour.
