The experience was great, loved the views, got great pictures. The price was great, the transportation was clutch. For me I wish we hiked up the mountain more, but we did get to see some cool stuff. 12:30-5 seems long but it goes by so quick, would love if it was extended longer. Juan was a great guide, highly recommend him. He also recommended a nice restaurant to go to as well! Only problem I had was having to listen to a family complain about hiking up the mountain…
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative with the history. Very kind and watched over us at all times making sure nobody gets hurt. Keep us comfortable at all times. Great tour. TY
It was great visiting a historical site, the only National Rainforest in the U.S. In addition, our tour guide, Juan, was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and professional.
Totally worth it to see el Yunque. Our guide was Eli, and he was amazing. He knew so much information and was funny and friendly. We felt safe and enjoyed the trip a lot. 100% recommend it. Note: Though uphill, this hike was relatively easy compared to others I’ve read about. If you want a more extreme or longer hike you might choose a different tour, but for an introduction to the park with a great guide this one was great. Places we visited were the tower/overlook, hiking trail near a historic manmade pool, and the river for swimming. Saw various waterfalls too.
Unfortunately, we had to shorten our time this time due to our flight. However, our guide, Eli, still made it worth it. This is our second time taking a group on tour with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and fun.
Enrique, our tour guide, was amazing. He was knowledgeable and informative. If you had a question, Enrique had an answer. Small group of 7, he would take time to pause for an elderly couple while simultaneously engaging the kids with interesting fun facts. We even ate plants (and not a vegan) finding them surprisingly tasty. On the ride back, he let us relax while playing traditional Latin music. Overall, highly recommend and next time back would love to take another tour with this company and Enrique again.
The guide didn’t go with us just basically drove us to spots we expected some guidance but not much given
It’s not worth it. Waste of money and time. Nothing exciting or interesting. If you expect Costa Rica rain forest, do not go to this tour. Honestly, the worst adventure tour I’ve ever had. One more: They brought few 8 ounces water for 20 people; ridiculous. This tour may be good for elementary school students.
Loved our guide, Juan. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.
Amazing experience! Fabian was a great and fun guide! It really worth the money.
