Da non perdere la visita al Parco Ischigualasto "Valle De La Luna", una destinazione unica e fuori dagli itinerari convenzionali, che sorprende con le sue formazioni e le insolite caratteristiche del suolo. Lo stupore per il luogo e la ricchezza che esso contiene per lo studio dei siti archeologici e paleontologici della zona ha causato l'UNESCO dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità. I suoi geoformi di forme curiose (The Submarine, The Mushroom, Bocce Court) e i resti del più antico dinosauro sono alcune delle attrazioni di questo sito, noto anche come "Valle de la Luna".

Itinerario
Partiremo dagli hotel selezionati a San Juan a partire dalle 7 ore e viaggeremo sulla National Tourist Route 150 per raggiungere il Parco Ischigualasto, o "Valle della Luna".
Il circuito si estende per circa 40 km e conta 5 stazioni, dove si visitano le geoforme più importanti, ricevendone la spiegazione e l'interpretazione dalle guide, il cui aiuto è fondamentale per interpretare i segni che la natura ha lasciato qui in più di duecento milioni di anni . Le stazioni sono: The Worm (El Gusano), The Painted Valley (Valle Pintado), The Bowls Court (Cancha de Bochas), The Sphinx (La Esfinge), The Submarine (El Submarino) e The Mushroom (El Hongo)
Alla fine del tour, visiteremo il Centro di interpretazione e il Museo di scienze naturali, installati all'ingresso del Parco. Ci sono parti esposte dei pezzi paleontologici trovati sul sito e la sua importanza è esposta. Riceveremo anche la spiegazione delle guide su come vengono sviluppati la ricerca, il monitoraggio, il recupero dei fossili e l'assemblaggio dei dinosauri.

Beautiful place that takes us through time. Didactic tour. Fully recommended

Excellent circuit to visit and the prices to enter are “Chordes” and worth visiting is something wonderful and incredible, equal to the lunar landscape as the name suggests
Beautiful scenery and Wonderful Place!! Extensive, very diverse colors and fauna. The entry seemed reasonable regarding Parque Talampaya, June 2024 we paid $25,000 in total. Super recommended! The visit is long, in vehicles, so people with low mobility can do it, at the end of the tour there is a cafeteria. Best time to visit we were recommended in September.

Safety pin!!! Beautiful place!! A very nice experience. Beautiful tour, a guide explains very well on each descent. General admission 10,000. Retirees 3,000. There is a restaurant "Los Rastros" where you can have a drink or lunch at affordable prices. Bathrooms in the restaurant or outside, very clean. There are stalls with crafts for sale.
Excellent 4-hour excursion visiting all the figures in the park, just keep in mind that you have to go by car because it is done only by car in a caravan with the guides and you visit the most notable points of the park… beautiful unique place
Needless to say, if you visit San Juan you have to stop by and see what they taught us in school as kids. The road to Ischigualasto can be done perfectly alone, until you reach the entrance where you currently pay (October 2023 $3,500 per person) and wait for the caravan of cars to leave. They leave approximately every hour. If you have to wait or at the end of the tour, you can visit the museum, which is free, and use the bathrooms. Quite the opposite of what happens on the Talampaya side (which I am going to detail in that topic)
