Itinerario
La prima tappa sarà al Castello di Taqah, (passando per la spiaggia sabbiosa di Taqah) la tua guida ti condurrà all'interno di questa vecchia città di pescatori di "Taqah". Questa eccellente città di pescatori è nota per la produzione di "sardine essiccate", numerosi raccolti rurali e le sue tradizionali case di fango Dhofari. La tua sosta sarà presso l'eccezionalmente antico "Castello di Taqah", la precedente sede dell'autorità del "Wali" (governatore), che è ora utilizzata come centro storico con grappoli di mostre e dai un'occhiata alla ricca storia della città e lo stile di vita antiquato della popolazione locale. Avrai l'opportunità di passare vicino ignorando la torre di monitoraggio (vecchio forte) sul pendio a fianco del maniero (vedi foto).
Quindi, sperimenterai la spettacolare scogliera rocciosa situata alla fine della costa di Taqah. La scogliera è alta circa 15 metri e si affaccia magnificamente sull'oceano Indiano e sulla città di Taqah. È semplicemente un punto di vista mozzafiato, dove sarai mentre raggiungi la cima sentendo la brezza rinfrescante dell'oceano, goditi alcuni momenti rilassanti della mente e, naturalmente, scatta foto memorabili in questo punto di vista sorprendente. La prossima visita sarà a Wadi (valle) Darbat. Questa valle è il luogo naturale più famoso, delizioso e grandioso della regione. È tra i 2 migliori luoghi visitati dai viaggiatori ogni anno nel Dhofar e un luogo ideale per una giornata vitale, in particolare, con la tua famiglia. La valle è celebrata con la sua sorgente che ha una caratteristica acqua sotterranea che modella un grazioso laghetto. È un impressionante carsismo topologico di formazione calcarea con una profondità di 211 m, simile a un edificio di 60 piani. Situato nel mezzo del Wadi (valle) Hinnah sul monte Samhan, la tua prossima tappa è sperimentare gli unici giganteschi alberi Baobab Tabaldi, anche noti "scientificamente come dansonia digitata". Questa città racconta una storia di insediamenti umani del 5 aC e storie del luogo che è stato un importante porto per l'unico commercio di incenso Dhofari negli anni successivi. My 5 day tour in Salalah was one of the most refreshing travel experiences I’ve ever had. The combination of lush greenery, misty mountains, and endless beaches felt like paradise. I visited Wadi Darbat, Mughsail Beach, and the stunning waterfalls that appear during the Khareef season. Every location looked like a postcard-green hills covered in fog and camels wandering freely. The local food was delicious, especially the seafood along the coast. What impressed me most was how peaceful and uncrowded everything felt. Salalah is truly a hidden gem for nature lovers. Initially booked a rental car for a self-drive tour of Salalah and surroundings. Problems with the car agency made me contact Hamid (recommended by a friend) to arrange for tours. Hamid took us on Salalah East half tour. Since the first communication Hamid was clear in what he had to offer ie a great car plus a great itinerary. We went to the Sultan Qaboos Mosque then drove eastwards visiting Eftilqout for the panoramic view, Mughsul beach blowholes and beaches along the way. Had a good swim at Fazayah beach before heading back at hotel. Hamid was trustworthy and knowledgable and made us feel safe. We enjoyed so much more than if we had rented a car.

We were able to efficiently visit the sights near Salalah that are inaccessible without a car. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the waterfalls because it was before the rainy season, but we enjoyed seeing the beautiful Arabian Sea, the oasis, and the animals. The guide was very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed the tour with Hamid. I was picked up on time and had enough time to explore all the places. Hamid was polite and never pushy. He was also very knowledgeable - I learned a lot of Omani history and culture from him. I was lucky as the weather was quite good when I visited these unique places, each of which got its own beauty and charm. The Taqah fort at the end of our trip was really nice. You can go to the very top and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Taqah town and the far reaching Indian Ocean. I would highly recommend a tour with Hamid. You are in for a wonderful journey!
