What a great service in a tricky place to get your bags around

Great service from baggage & smile, you get what it says on the tin, they tend to your baggage with a friendly smile, Janelle I think the lady manager was called was so helpful, also gave us a map & said if we needed any help while staying there let her know. The lovely porter who wheeled our luggage on a trolley was so helpful & friendly, it wasn't far, but worth it, as in the heat of the day, even wheeling your luggage is hard work. He even took our luggage up 2 flights of stairs to our apartment & helped us find the place we were staying.. Worth the 13 euro each total 26euro Would definitely use again

Dubrovnik is a city of stairs. Be sure to ask how many you will need to climb to reach your accommodation. Also, there are no vehicles allowed inside of the city walls. Fortunately, before we arrived, I was informed that we’d have to scale 100 steps to reach our rented apartment. We had two very large and very heavy suitcases and sundry smaller ones. I knew we wouldn’t be able to handle this ourselves, so I found “Baggage and Smiles” online and called them. Not only do they handle luggage but they handle you as well with transportation. They picked us up at our ship and brought us to their office just outside of old town Dubrovnik. They stored our luggage until check-in time at our rented apartment. Then at 2 pm they loaded the luggage onto a cart and their porter pushed the cart through the Old Town and in one trip hauled all those bags up the 100 steps and corridors to our apt. When it came time to depart for the airport, they did all this in reverse. The fee for these services was extremely reasonable. We would absolutely use them again. I thanked myself for having found them because they solved all the issues we faced as travelers to Dubrovnik. If you have a long push through the old town and a lot of stairs to climb you will thank yourself for hiring this competent service.

Brilliant service, lots of stairs in old town and Harry was friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this service especially if you have heavy bags or are of an older generation.

Amazing service. It is very useful to know that the porter service exists, as if you stay in the Old Town you are often unpleasantly surprised by buildings with extremely steep or difficult stairs, making it almost impossible to carry large luggage. They provided an excellent porter who helped with two large suitcases.

The staff at the office and Udaya our porter were fantastic to deal with. Udaya went above & beyond to give us information about Dubrovnik old town, he took photos of us along the way, and was very friendly & helpful. Udaya had to climb many stairs with our heave luggage and was still smiling at the end. 100% recommend this service.

Wow - super helpful, friendly, fast, on-time. Make your first and last days simple with help from these folks. Weather is warm and stairs are steep, accommodations can be hard to find. We LOVED staying inside the old city and the help we got was more than just good service, everyone wanted to help us enjoy our visit.
