- 07:30: la nostra guida e la nostra auto verranno a prendervi al vostro hotel nel centro di Hue, quindi pronti per iniziare il DMZ Tour Hue. Luoghi da visitare: - Horror Highway: l'orribile carneficina sulla Vietnam Highway 1. Migliaia di civili, per lo più anziani, donne, bambini e decine di soldati sono stati uccisi da armi di artiglieria e fanteria in ore di sparatorie. - Long Hung Church: uno dei pochissimi edifici esistenti rimane nella città di Quang Tri durante l'”Estate del fuoco” o offensiva orientale nel 1972. È una reliquia nazionale nella città di Quang Tri Vietnam – BA5453. - Quang Tri Ancient Citadel: è vista come un testimone oculare di feroci battaglie durante la guerra di resistenza anti-americana nel 1972. Durante gli 81 giorni di combattimenti, la cittadella fu quasi distrutta da migliaia di tonnellate di bombe rilasciate dall'esercito americano. Al giorno d'oggi, la cittadella diventa un luogo per celebrare le vittorie immortali dell'esercito e del popolo vietnamiti e per educare i giovani sulla tradizione rivoluzionaria della nazione e sul suo patriottismo.
- Proseguiamo il viaggio, ci fermiamo a visitare: - Dakrong Bridge: il ponte era considerato l'inizio della rete di Ho Chi Minh Trail e durante molti anni della guerra del Vietnam, questo punto di accesso fu oggetto di aspre contese. Il ponte Dakrong è caduto molte volte. Ora è un grande ponte sospeso, un naso orgoglioso come per dire: "Non puoi più abbattere il mio ponte". - Lungo la strada, i turisti hanno anche la possibilità di incontrare il villaggio della minoranza Paco. - Ta Con Airport: ora è il Khe Sanh Combat Base Museum, contiene un cimitero di diversi carri armati e aerei statunitensi catturati distrutti durante la battaglia di Khe Sanh. Secondo i resoconti ufficiali forniti dal museo, 197 aerei statunitensi furono abbattuti o catturati durante i 170 giorni di battaglia. - Snack gratuiti. - Dopo la pausa, la nostra guida e la nostra auto ti riporteranno ai luoghi di guerra, tra cui: - Ponte Hien Luong – Fiume Ben Hai: gli accordi di Ginevra sul Vietnam firmati nel 1954 dividevano il Vietnam in nord e sud con il 17° parallelo dove il fiume Ben Hai attraversa la provincia centrale di Quang Tri come linea di confine. Il ponte Hien Luong, noto anche come il ponte della pace, fu costruito dai francesi nel 1950, sul fiume Ben Hai. È lungo 178 m ma ci sono voluti 21 anni perché i vietnamiti del nord e del sud si unissero. - Vinh Moc Tunnels and Tunnels Museum: la parte più importante del tour DMZ durante la guerra del Vietnam. Il complesso del tunnel di Vinh Moc, situato in profondità nella zona demilitarizzata vietnamita, ha protetto la popolazione della contea di Vinh Linh dagli intensi bombardamenti. I tunnel sono stati un successo nel salvare le vite degli abitanti del villaggio e fornire loro le condizioni di vita necessarie per combattere il nemico americano.

A long day trip that was worth taking to hear and see the range of sites that are important to the DMZ. Our guide was excellent and was able to provide a lot of relevant and interesting information. The Vinh Mic tunnels and the Khe Sanh base with the examples of US helicopters were the highlights for us. The drive up to the base along the road to Laos was also spectacular.
Vivian was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, professional, and spoke excellent English. She explained the history clearly and gave us plenty of interesting details throughout the tour, including at the bridge and the Vịnh Mốc Tunnels. The whole experience was very well organized, and I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a great tour with guide Thuan. She gave a lot of explanations and background information so we now also have a good view of the history seen from Vietnam. All stops were very interesting with the highlight, the tunnel complex. We highly recommend this tour!
It was a very nice experience. Our group existed of only 2 people so we got a very personalized experience. Our tour guide Khanh vas very knowledgeable, but most important, she was open to answer questions and engage in the conversation and jokes with us. It didn’t feel like a textbook history lesson, but truly like a warm (also literally with 37 degrees), pure, and joyful learning experience. The drives were long, but since we received the information and had interesting conversations during the ride, we got more than enough time per site to explore and do our own thing as well. Can absolutely recommend. 5/5
It was a very nice tour. Lots of information. It was incredibly fascinating. Our guide was khahn and she spoke very good English. Highly recommended this tour. Going into the vinh moc tunnels was really a wonderful experience but so was the rest.
