It was very pleasant experience and highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind in an unspoilt environment. Diana, our guide was excellent, very helpful and proficient!!
Our tour to Prangli Island from Tallinn with Prangli Travel was excellent. We had a wonderful tour guide, Epp, show us around the island and answered any questions we had about the area. As it was the winter, Prangli was covered in snow, and was beautiful to hike around. Epp showed us some of the prime spots on the island, including the beautiful church, and the natural gas pipe - which she bought along some marshmallows as well for us to enjoy. We enjoyed some lunch at one of the houses in Prangli, which was lovely, and had a local charm to it. There was also a really cute dog as well. If you're into photography, or perhaps just hiking, I would recommend travelling to Prangli as it provides some breath-taking moments. Epp was a real help even after our tour, providing us with a list of places she'd recommend visiting whilst in Tallinn.
It was one of a kind experience with Stassi. Wholesome, friendly guide with a wealth of knowledge. She was well versed about the island, history and survival techniques. Will be contacting again for more!
What a fantastic experience! We booked a sleddog tour through y Prangli Travel, a travel agency who was most helpful to accomodate our wish, on top of the canicross with huskies, to stay as well overnight at the lodge in the forest, and have dinner there, and do a bog hike the next day. Marilin who hosted us was adorable an knowledgeable as she is also a bog hike guide! The dogs are happy dogs adn we did a wonderful canicross at night with torchs and puppies! We had a friendly yummy dinner in this beautiful place. The bog hike the next day was another highlight of the trip! And we finished with a horse sledge tour! Honestly, it was amazing, and completed so well the first city days in Tallinn. We highly recommend Prangli travel and going to Small Lapland to meet Marilin!
We loved seeing the old fishing village! The restaurant food was good and our guide showed us all the local spots. Because our group was handicapped, our guide got us close so we didn't have much walking to do. Very enjoyable day!
This is a fun trip if you want to get away from the city for the day. The ferry is comfortable and takes about an hour each way, The island has a lot of history and you get about half the time to explore on your own, we walked from the port to the lighthouse about a 5 mile round trip. Don't expect a gourmet meal, it will be pretty basic, but you can supplement it with other things from the cafe. Also the guide only stays with you the first couple hours, and while you can be picked up at a hotel in the morning by a company vehicle and driver, the return is a contracted taxi that will take you to the tourist center in Old Town. Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable.
Thank you!
We took a day trip from Tallinn tourist information to Prangli and can only recommend the tour to anyone who loves nature and unusual places. Our guide was very well educated, friendly and communicative. We learned a lot about Estonia, Tallinn and Prangli. The tour around the island in the pick-up truck was great, one meter from the sea along the beach, on sandy tracks through the pine forest and to the isolated church. Absolutely recommended. There was also some time for swimming from the beach.
This was one of the best tours I've ever taken. It was just a couple of us, so our guide, Katri, was able to spend a lot of time with us, and show us many interesting spots along the way. Katri was so friendly and knowledgeable. After the tour, she emailed us with more suggestions of things to do as well as listing every place we had visited that day so we could remember all the names. Next time I am in Tallinn, I will ask for Katri by name!
Thank you!
Had a great trip to Prangli Island in a small group. Helena, our guide, was able to tell us a lot about the island's history and the life Prangli island. Higly recommended if you like nature and peaceful places.
Thank you!
We booked this trip through Prangli Travel. The trip to Prangli Island was absolutely wonderful. Our tour guide Andreas not only was a fantastic guide but also a very impressive young man. The trip from start to finish was simply wonderful - the ferry trip, the open backed truck trip around Prangli Island, the lunch, the free time in the afternoon to walk around Prangli Island and the ferry back to the mainland. Thank you to Prangli Travel, Andreas, the lovely new guide Epp for making a day tour truly memorable. This is a must do tour when you visit Estonia.
