We booked the Lisbon to Porto transfer and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Instead of simply travelling between the two cities, we were able to turn the journey into a great experience in family. We stoped in Obidos and it was absolutely wonderful. The medieval town is charming, with its cobbled streets and impressive castle walls. The entire journey was smooth and stress-free, and we appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary. It was a fantastic way to discover more of Portugal while travelling between Lisbon and Oporto and I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a comfortable transfer with the opportunity to see some of Portugal’s most beautiful locations along the way. We would definitely book again!

We made a last minute plan to head from Lisbon to a northern city, Aveiro, to see the salt baths. Instead of going by train, we decided to use Viator to find a local tour guide. We were booked with Nuno and had a delightfully full day that we were able to customize. Nuno is a chatty, boisterously fun guide who gives a personal lens to touring Portugal. The highlight of the trip for me wasn't on the itinerary, we stopped in a little city for a late lunch in a small family cafe and talked about so many things. I described it as "the most Portuguese thing we did" during our trip. Overall, with zero planning we had a great day, with a fun tour guide, who helped take some great (and hilarious) photos of the day.
