Itinerario
Cusco
La tua gita di un giorno inizia presto e con il prelievo dall'hotel tra le 3 : 00 e le 3 : 30 a Cusco. Partendo prima dell'alba, arriverai alla Montagna Arcobaleno (Monte Vinicunca) davanti alla folla e ti godrai il paesaggio mozzafiato in pace - perfetto per le foto e un'esperienza più serena. La prima tappa del viaggio dura circa 1 ora e 30 minuti mentre guidiamo verso Cusipata, dove inizia la tua avventura ad alta quota.
Cusipata
La nostra prima tappa è nella città di Cusipata, dove gusterete una calda e tradizionale colazione andina per energizzarvi per la giornata che vi aspetta. Questa pausa di 30 minuti è l'occasione perfetta per rilassarsi, acclimatarsi e assaporare i sapori locali prima che l'avventura continui. Dopo colazione, guidiamo per circa 1 ora attraverso paesaggi panoramici di altopiano e il villaggio di Pitumarca, arrivando a Hanchipata–Llama Chimpana, il punto di partenza dell’escursione verso Rainbow Mountain.
Vinicunca Mountain
Parti per il tuo trekking ai piedi della catena montuosa Ausangate, iniziando un'ascensione di 1 ora e 45 minuti fino alla vetta della Rainbow Mountain. Lungo la strada, si possono avvistare vari camelidi sudamericani, come lama e alpaca. Una volta raggiunta la collina rossa, sarete accolti da viste mozzafiato sul vivace paesaggio.
Dopo aver raggiunto la Montagna Arcobaleno (Monte Vinicunca), gli avventurieri hanno la possibilità di continuare con un'escursione di 1 ora verso la Valle Rossa mozzafiato. Molto meno affollata di Rainbow Mountain, questa gemma nascosta offre paesaggi ultraterreni rossi e rame che sembrano dipinti dalla natura stessa. Nessuna preoccupazione per l'altitudine? Ci pensiamo noi. Le bombole di ossigeno e le attrezzature di sicurezza essenziali sono sempre a portata di mano e le nostre guide esperte sono addestrate per assisterti in ogni fase!

Dopo aver completato l'escursione, goditi una discesa panoramica di 1 ora fino alla testa del sentiero, dove ti aspetterà il tuo autista. Da lì, torniamo al Distretto di Cusipata per premiare i vostri sforzi con un meritato pranzo a buffet di un'ora. Assaporate una varietà di piatti tradizionali andini realizzati con ingredienti freschi e locali. Dopo pranzo, iniziamo il viaggio di ritorno a Cusco, con un arrivo stimato intorno alle 15:30 - un sacco di tempo per rilassarsi e rivivere i momenti salienti del tuo viaggio Rainbow Mountain. La consegna sarà in Avenida El Sol, di fronte al tempio Qorikancha, intorno alle 16:30

Wonderfully experienced.

Absolutely brilliant. We did a private tour, 2 couples + guide, and our guide, Julian Pacco, was awesome, l cannot say enough about him. He told us so much info, showed us where to take the best photos, and is an all round nice person. Our slow walk from Rainbow Mountain past the Red Valley back down to the parking place was unbelievable. I initially wanted the ATV Tour, but we would have missed so much lm glad we walked.

Good tour and good guide
Good time to pick up so we avoided people wave for photographing. Clear instruction in English to ensure we could understand the whole timeline. Caring guide. :)

Blue skies rainbow mountains
I had an amazing time on the rainbow mountains tour, the food for breakfast and lunch was amazing, they picked us up straight from our accommodation and guided us up the mountain whilst taking breaks when nessesary. I learnt so much about the mountain and the history as well as having a great time laughing with the guides at both rainbow mountain and red valley. Honestly couldn’t recommend this tour enough!

Unique Experience - Don't Miss it!
Excellent experience! We were very concern because we are an older couple. We took a horse ride guided by the local "Inka" people dressed in beautiful outfits. We had to climb a part of the trail, but the guide Alex was so carrying and helpful. We feel supported and taken care of. We had a great breakfast before the trail and a great lunch after before we returned to Cusco. We also climbed up to the Red Valley. It was a unique experience.

Challenging but worth it
Rainbow Mountain Travels was great at communication, messaging details in advance of our trip, as well as the day before and day of, so we were very prepared and knew exactly what to expect. We had Kristien as our guide, and he and our driver were both very professional and helpful. I thought I was fairly fit, but he hike itself was difficult because of the altitude! Kristien made sure everyone could take it at their own pace though, and stayed behind for anyone that needed assistance. The mountain itself was incredible, and despite it being a physical challenge, was totally worth it.
