A wonderful co.prehensive tour of Yerevan, Armenian history and some foods. Aga was very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to deep dive into all subject matters of interest.
Fantastic walking tour with Agapi. We really enjoyed the information about the country and the monuments of the city of Yerevan. Really nice touch to have lunch in a local restaurant and try traditional foods. Great tour and highly recommend it!
It’s a great tour concept that combines sightseeing with a tasting of local food. We had lunch, and the tour guide told us a lot of important information about it. The tour guide was very nice and passionate about her work. However, her English wasn’t very good, so there were times when we didn’t understand everything she said, or she couldn’t express everything she wanted to.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour concept and the combination of sightseeing with local food tasting. It's also wonderful to know that our guide's passion and friendliness made a positive impression. We appreciate your honest feedback about the English communication. We understand how important clear communication is, and we'll use your comments to help us improve our guides' language skills through additional training. Thank you again for joining us and for taking the time to share your experience. We hope to welcome you back on another tour in the future!
Aga was so knowledgeable and friendly. Tour moved at a good pace and ended on time. She gave us real insight into life in Yerevan. Delicious tasting.
Ionna is a wealth of information. We loved the tour with her@
I would like to report to the platform the person/agency in Yerevan: when I arrived at the pickup point, it turned out that I was the only one who had reserved the paid tour (48 euros), while all the others had booked a free walking tour, paying only about 10 euros at the restaurant for the tasting of typical food. The guide Tigran refunded me only after long resistance. This paid experience should be removed from TripAdvisor/Viator, and the person/agency should also be excluded from your circuits.
Dear Silvia, Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry that you were dissatisfied with your experience. However, I would like to clarify several very important points. I would like to clarify that the tour you booked was a paid tour offered through a specific booking platform. The price included the guided experience as well as the food tasting at a local restaurant. Different booking platforms have different pricing structures because they charge commissions and service fees, which are included in the final price shown to customers at the time of booking. As our tour is a group tour and we need to have minimum number of participants to be able to run the tour there are some days in a month when participants book different products through different platforms, including free walking tours where guests contribute a voluntary tip to the guide at the end. These are separate products with different conditions and pricing models. These differences are determined by the respective platforms and booking options, not at the meeting point. When you raised your concerns before the tour started, I immediately offered you a full refund. Despite this, you chose to remain with the group and participate in the tour. At the end of the experience, your refund was processed in full. It is also important to note that during the tour you repeatedly interrupted the guide, raised your voice in front of other guests, and disturbed the flow of the experience for the rest of the group. We nevertheless remained professional and continued the tour while trying to address your concerns respectfully. At no point was there any intention to mislead you or charge you unfairly. We acted in good faith, provided a full refund, and did our best to accommodate your concerns. I respectfully disagree with your suggestion that our company should be removed from TripAdvisor or Viator. We have welcomed thousands of travelers to Yerevan and have received numerous positive reviews recognizing our professionalism, local knowledge, and commitment to providing quality experiences. While we appreciate all feedback and continuously work to improve our services, I believe it is unfair to characterize this situation as dishonest when a full refund was provided and every reasonable effort was made to resolve your concerns. Kind regards, Tigran Haya Tours
