A great overview of Chicago architecture, with history and lore thrown in. I would highly recommend this tour!
We were in Chicago for a wedding with not much downtime, so we decided on the 90 minute boat tour. I knew it would be cool, but I didn’t expect it to be so entertaining! Tony is a legend. Super knowledgeable and hilarious. It was a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend, but bring sunscreen!! Luckily they sold some on board 😮💨

Cheryl was our tour guide and she was absolutely amazing! She explained everything so clearly and had such a great sense of humor that she kept the entire tour engaging from beginning to end. I don’t usually have the best memory, but the way she told the stories made everything so interesting that I still remember all the buildings, their history, the stories behind them, and even their architectural designs. I've wanted to do this tour for several years. It did not disappoint. We went right away in the morning (9:30 AM) and it was cool enough to enjoy and the boat wasn't croweded. The docent who volunteered was very knowledgeable and we loved hearing the history of each of the buildings. Great tour if you are even mildly interested in history and architecture and the river is beautiful!
