Crociera Isla Mujeres con Beach Club, Snorkeling, Pranzo e Open Bar

This review in no way reflects the boat crew as they were awesome and the ONLY good thing about this trip. The snorkeling experience couldn’t have possibly been less enjoyable. They didn’t have enough life jackets for the amount of people that wanted to snorkel, which was shocking. In the water the group was way too large and everyone was right on top of each other. You were constantly bumping into each other and for extra fun would get a random kick from another person on the boat to your arm or leg. If you tried to gain any separation so you could actually see some fish or wildlife you would just get screamed at by the guide to stay with the group. It was an absolutely miserable experience. Getting back on the boat, the ride to Isla Muerjes was good. Upon landing on the Island you eat the buffet lunch. It is located in close proximity to the bathrooms which give off an incredibly strong smell (think of a porta potty that has been sitting in the sun with 200 people using it for 30 days straight). At least it got you ready to eat the food that tasted like the radiating smell from bathrooms. The water was absolutely incredible. Crystal clear and refreshingly cooler! The staff on the ride home was incredible. It’s too bad that the company they work for had already ruined the experience by cramming probably 85-100 people on a boat and serving low grade dog food for lunch. Skip this, pay a little more and select a smaller group excursion where the snorkeling is relaxed and you can actually see some wildlife.

The snorkeling experience was shorter than we thought it would be. The Buffett was terrible. Really enjoyed everything else. The boat crew were great. And the jewelers were special as well.

Shuttle was late and in an unmarked vehicle. He stood around for almost 10 minutes before calling us. There were probably 25 less seats on the boat than people and they did not have enough life jackets for everyone to actually snorkel. When on the boat everything got said in English and Spanish but once in the water they stopped using English at all. There were way too many people kicking and hitting one another during the snorkeling and our group almost got crushed by the ventus (another catamaran) when trying to get back on the boat. My fiance got sick from the buffet and they tried to keep You corralled into a very small portion of shops and beach. This trip was a prime example of tourist trap and I regret booking this excursion through Expedia.

The experience was disappointing. It was very disorganized once we arrived at the departure point, and I almost missed my boat because the staff kept trying to sell me a paid upgrade instead of helping passengers board. The tour itself was also underwhelming. They simply took us to Isla Mujeres, dropped us off for about four hours, and then picked us up to return. While drinks and snorkeling were included, it felt like there was very little organization or guidance. Overall, it seemed like they just transported us to the island and back, with not much of an actual tour experience.

The highlight of our trip. The crew was so attentive, informative and wonderful. I absolutely highly recommend. Treated like royalty.

This was an amazing time. Oscar and his crew were the best. They made sure we had everything we needed and made sure that we had all the information we needed to find the free lunch and drinks as well as find the pier where we were meeting for our return boat ride. We even had 2 people that were late to return to the pier and Oscar and the team went back to get them. Keep up the good work!
