Costa Maya - Pitaya Beach Open Bar, Snorkeling, Massaggi e Pranzo

Great Customer Service! The local company was fun to work with. Everything they provided was perfect. Easy to follow and fantastic communication. I recommend and will definitely use again if needed.

Amazing time at this beach club! Was easy to get a taxi, only $5 per person which Gio will get you about the day before you arrive! We were provided amazing service and an amazing experience snorkeling from our Guide Jesus who made should we were good in the water and let us go see really amazing things like tropical fish, coral formations, and even a turtle! We ate tacos with fajitas which I thought were delicious! Also we were provided a very good list of open bar drinks that we were allowed, I had a great Pina Coloda and my parter had a good bit of beers! And the massage was perfect, very relaxing and the girls made sure to get very part of you, my advice is just take in the local sounds of Mexico and enjoy your vacation! Gio and the other woman were so friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. I would wholeheartedly book this experience again! I’m so glad I went out of my comfort zone and booked an excursion without the cruise line because it ended up being one of the best ones and not stressful at all!

We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the whole experience- we got to snorkel (bring your own if you have them) and the food and drinks were great. We all enjoyed our massages and the view. Seaweed was kept to a minimum and we didn’t smell it at all.

Booked this excursion in Costa Maya when we landed in port via our Royal Caribbean cruise. Our party of 7 (all adults 18 and older) arrived via a cab we found once we left the Costa Maya port area (we ended up paying $10 per person round trip). Although not the fault of this vendor, getting out the port area of Costa Maya was confusing due to lack of signage to the exit/cab area. Just tell the cab driver you have a reservation for - Pitaya Beach and provide the name of the place on the reservation and they will drop you off right next to it. It was about a 15 min cab ride there). Anyway, once we arrived we met the owner who was behind the bar. We signed our waivers, got our VIP wristbands and were escorted by the friendly and attentive worker to the beach area a few steps away where there were beach/lounge chairs and two young ladies available to do your 50 minute massages (which were HEAVENLY and better than what I got back in the states...make sure to tip them - we gave each about $5-10 per person). Our party then waited for the captain and his mate to take us out on a small boat to do snorkeling. The water was murky and choppy at the time (due to a unbeknownst storm that was scheduled to arrive 12 hours later). We saw only a few fish, but we did get to see a sea turtle that swam right beneath us a few times, which was cool). After the 60 min snorkeling, we returned to the beach where we got to eat chicken tacos and french fries and unlimited (watered down) alcoholic drinks. There were many vendors walking on the beach selling things. Some were kind of pushy, but if you said no, they would leave. I was able to get a few beautiful souvenirs and negotiated the prices down. However, right behind the beach area is a walking path where additional vendors are selling things as well. Because my husband was nervous about missing the ship, he was the designated time keeper. We tipped our waiter, took a cab back, and was able to make it back on the ship in plenty of time.

Great snorkeling! Even saw a sea turtle! The guide, jesús was amazing! And so was the captain Jared! Food was 10/10. Def worth it. Massage was on point also!!!

This was a small, but swimmable beach section. We had option of beach chairs right on the beach, or back in the shade. The price was excessive for what you got. A massage was included, so I opted for a shoulder/neck massage, which lasted about 5 minutes. The food offering was not good, so we just asked for chips and salsa (I know they offered french fries with something else - not what I was expecting). The drinks were acceptable and you could get as many as you wanted, but we only had 3 for the day, so although the day was fine, we do not feel it was worth the money we paid.

Loved snorkeling! We saw 2 sea turtles! They had great chairs to relax in and the food and drinks were great. You cannot beat this price. Try the coconut smoothies!!!

Very nice and attentive people. Made sure we were taken care of and kept us informed of our schedule and time to depart so we wouldn’t miss the ship. Snorkeling was wonderful!!

It is kinda hard to navigate to get to this location but well worth it. Once we arrived at the correct location the staff did a amazing job of making sure we were taking care of. The massage was amazing and not rushed, I felt so much better afterwards. We were on a time schedule so we were unable to stay the entire time, the staff called the boat back so we would be able to enjoy the snorkeling. The water was perfect, the fish were plentiful, even seen a stingray. The guide was great and showed us so much marine life, and made sure we all stayed safe the entire time while taking photos. We did not receive the photos of the snorkeling trip, not sure why but thats small things. The view was beautiful, the beach was great, the staff was wonderful. All I all it was a 5 out of 5 hands down, highly recommend this company for any trip in this area.

I cannot say enough good stuff about this excursion. We were looking for something relaxing and we sure found it! It's a little tricky to find the place. Best advice I can give is to to get a taxi from the cruise port and to ask them to take you to Pitaya Beach. When they drop you off, enter the beach area and turn left and walk down just a short distance and "Pitaya" restaurant will be on your left hand side. This is where you "check in". They have their own private section on the beach with loungers that are either in the sun or the shade. The 50 minute massage was really good. Even my husband is who is looking for a near bone density scan out of a massage said it was good! lol. Eugenia at the restaurant could not have been kinder and more friendly. She even obliged our request to have El Pastor tacos vs the chicken fajita tacos they serve as lunch. They were really good. The beach was so relaxing and the water was really nice. You can go about quite a ways and still be standing. The section is all netted off, so for someone who is a little afraid of the water, I felt more comfortable. We will absolutely do this one again and honestly, for a massage, lunch, drinks, lounging right on the beach and plenty of little shops along the boardwalk, the price was great! 10 out of 10 would recommend if you are looking to relax while in Costa Maya!
