We loved this pastry tour! It sounds like a good amount of walking but really didn’t notice since the stops for pastries broke it up well. We were definitely full at the end but were really happy with both the bakeries we went to and the pastries we tried. Our guide Sigurd was super nice and fun!
The tastings were outside and it was cold and windy. Ugh! 3 of the 5 danish’s were yum. Not enough chocolate danish, ha ha. Would have been nice had they given us coffee or anything to drink.
This pastry tour was a fun and delicious way to see the city and try different pastries. There was no signage at the meeting point which was confusing as I was worried we were not in the right spot! The guide was informative, and provided some history and architectural instruction during our walk. I would have appreciated a quarter of a pastry instead of half, as these were large portions to have 5 servings in two hours. Overall a fun tour!
Had a great time on the pastry tour with Ena! Had some great pastries and learned a lot about typical Danish customs from Ena and got some good recommendations. Walking tour covered a good portion of the city center. The meeting point was a little confusing, would have been easier if the pickup address was just the first bakery (where we actually met up) instead of the women's prison next to it.
Delicious Tour full of history!
Delicious. Lovely walk around Copenhagen bakeries on a beautiful day! Have a coffee or water with you.
A Tasty Tour and a nice way to spend the morning. Our guide was great - fun to be with and knowledgeable
Great variety of pastries, lots of walking so be prepared. Nice balance of treats with history. Had a wonderful time!
Whilst we enjoyed the tour, and found the guide friendly and happy to chat, we were disappointed that we didn’t learn more about the history of danish pastry making and why it developed into the industry it is today. We didn’t spend any time in the bakeries or get to watch any of the processes so it felt very superficial and not value for money. A visit to a small, independent bakery where we could have had a short talk from a baker, or a chance to watch them working would have made the trip so much more interesting. Trying the pastries was enjoyable, and we learnt a little about them, but we definitely came away with the feeling of having wanted so much more from the experience.
Tour consisted of tour guide going into several bakeries & buying pastries and handing them out. Little dialog from guide! Had better pastries & more info from one stop on a food tour previous day.
