In questo tour, la nostra Guida ti condurrà in un percorso a piedi accuratamente progettato intorno alla città vecchia per scoprire tutti i punti salienti e le storie dietro di loro, a partire dai Giardini di Tivoli, ricchi di magia e tradizione, Piazza del Municipio, Palazzo Christiansborg, sede del Parlamento Danese e delle sale ricevimenti reali, la Vecchia Borsa del XVII secolo, il Teatro Reale e il colorato canale di Nyhavn. Da lì camminerai lungo il lungomare vicino all'imponente Playhouse e al moderno Teatro dell'Opera, due dei più nuovi punti di riferimento sul porto di Copenaghen, arrivando al Palazzo Amalienborg, la residenza ufficiale della Famiglia Reale Danese, un elegante complesso sotto gli occhi attenti della guardia reale. Da lì si proseguirà per il giardino reale a "Kongens have" dove si trova la residenza estiva più popolare, il Castello di Rosenborg, per proseguire fino a Tivoli.

La nostra guida vi accompagnerà lungo un percorso accuratamente studiato per raccontarvi al meglio i monumenti e i luoghi di interesse del centro storico, e gli aneddoti che si celano dietro essi. Partendo dai Giardini di Tivoli, ricchi di magia e tradizione, vi sposterete verso la piazza del municipio e il palazzo di Christiansborg che ospita il parlamento e la sale di ricevimento reale, dove hanno luogo gli incontri più formali.
Vi mostrerà poi lo storico palazzo della borsa risalente al XVII secolo, continuerete verso il Teatro Reale, e il coloratissimo canale di Nyhavn.
Da lì passeggerete sul lungomare oltrepassando l’imponente teatro di prosa e il teatro dell’opera, due dei più recenti simboli del porto di Copenaghen, e arriverete al palazzo di Amalienborg, residenza ufficiale della Famiglia Reale, sorvegliato dall’occhio vigile e attento della Guardia Reale.
Il castello di Rosenborg è un castello rinascimentale situato a Copenaghen, in Danimarca. Il castello fu originariamente costruito come residenza estiva di campagna nel 1606 ed è un esempio dei numerosi progetti architettonici di Cristiano IV
La Cattedrale di Copenaghen, oggi progettata dall'architetto C.F. Hansen in stile neoclassico. La prima pietra fu posta dal re Federico VI nel 1817 e la solenne consacrazione ebbe luogo la domenica di Pentecoste del 1829. Questo sito serviva una chiesa poiché il vescovo Absalon, il fondatore di Copenaghen, fece costruire una piccola cappella nei locali. Julia shared her knowledge of Danish history and related sites. Great conversations and answers to our questions. She went out of her way to bring us to her favorite bakery. Personalized and fun experience.
It was just me and my fiancé on the tour and it was so cool! We were able to ask so many questions and got some amazing photos along the way! Our guide was so knowledgeable and we learned so much of the history of Copenhagen. It’s hard to believe it was only 2 hours! The entry to Tivoli was awesome, our guide brought us in, gave us some maps and helped set us up with the ride ticket/ passes. Inside the park we rode 5 rides (2 of them twice) got food, and wandered around. Wich took us about 2.5 hours. This gave us plenty of time to get a nice dinner and be back at the hotel to rest up for our flight the next morning. The entire day was full of exploring and well structured

We have visited 19 countries in Europe over the years and an infinite number of parks before. But our trip to Copenhagen to experience the Christmas market will be a memory of the worst of all visits. We were turned away at the entrance to the Christmas market on Tivoli park promenade because we have a dog, a 7, kg large Shitzu in company. Otherwise, we experienced streets and surroundings around the city center littered and also difficult to reach with a stroller. And anyone with reduced mobility should definitely avoid the destination. If you are also hungry, you must feed on beer and not be picky. Other places like Liseberg in Gothenburg or Mount Mikkeli in France, or Christmas markets in Germany have never been a problem in the company of pets to go outdoors among the "attractions". Zero rating to Copenhagen in general.

We were a large group on an organized trip and Luis was our Guide. He did his best to make us comfortable and enjoy the trip. He is a close and passionate person for his work, which was shown in his explanations of the culture and history of the city and Denmark. I recommend it.
Our guide was very nice and accommodating to the needs of my mother who was in a wheel chair. We told her the things we wanted to see, and she tried to accommodate us. However, she was not native to Denmark, and this caused confusion and disappointment. She was very knowledgeable about the facts of the buildings and dates of history. However, she didn't know the insights that come from a local guide. She didn't speak Danish, so when we asked what something read on a billboard or sign, she had to look it up with a translation app. We could have done that. Quite disappointing. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was her lack of knowledge of The Church of Our Lady and Thorvaldsen's statues of the Christus and the Apostles. These statues were on our "must-see" list, and they were mentioned in the tour description. It was quite a distance for us to walk, especially pushing my mother in a wheel chair. Our guide dutifully led the way, but she wasn't quite certain how to get there from the location we were at because we deviated from the normal canned tour. We were there on a Sunday, and after the lengthy walk, we arrived to discover the Church wasn't open until after the tour was over. She should have known that. Also, she doubted that the Christus and Apostle statues were even there and suggested that they would be in a museum with Thorvaldsen's other works. Having been to Copenhagen before, I knew they were in the chapel. When we walked back after the tour was over, I had to reassure some of my group that the statues were definitely in the chapel, even though they weren't convinced because of the erroneous information from our tour guide. And yes, they were in the chapel. In the survey for this review, I said I would recommend this tour, because I believe the tour would be very good with a local guide. If you don't have a local guide, I would not recommend it.
