I would give it 10/10. My teenage son loved it and we both had such an amazing time. The staff were soooo nice. They more than deserved the tips they got!
Charged $40 additional dollars upon arrival for a second ATV even though the confirmation text stated it was $10. They add a conversion rate EVEN THOUGH YOU PAY IN PESOS. My kid got hurt on the ATV. Luckily I had a first aid kit. After 30 minutes after I’d taken care of him did a staff member come to assist. Will not book this excursion with this company again.
Dear Customer We're deeply sorry for your experience. Next time, we encourage you to book even numbers. If you book individually on shared ATVs, you'll obviously be charged an upgrade fee for one person to drive their own ATV without a companion. Warm regards
Overall, I would rate a five because of the experience, fun we had and overall value for the money. The only things I would change would be the zip line experience and the check-in process. When we got off the shuttle bus, we were directed to the check-in area but had no clue what to do when we got there. We stood at the front desk by several of the employees, but nobody said anything for at least 15 minutes. We finally realized that the guide calls your name , when you need to come up and sign the forms. It would've been nice to know that out the gate so that we could've sat down and waited until that happened. For the zip lines, they were fun, but it was precarious because you had to standon a cut log to get hooked up to the wire. It would be a lot safer if they made some wooden boxes as the riders wouldn't feel like they were gonna fall off and the operators would know they were secure. Other than that, the luncheon was good and all the employees were very nice. I would recommend this excursion.
The zip line was so so so much fun and we loved the Atv and Cenote was so fun and the food was so great and they served us so fast.💙
Lots of fun, guides were great, especially George of the Jungle. Someone lost their wallet at the cenote and a guide went bobbing in the water and found it. ATV was a little sketchy, book a side-by-side if nervous. Also being mostly in the jungle was a nice break from the hot sun. We upgraded to the VIP and found it was worth it for the extra food & drinks.
The staff at the ziplining course is very efficient and knows what they are doing, it's very safe from start to finish. The ATVs were very hard to steer and handle, and bottom out over the bumps on the course, definitely get the extra insurance as the ATV could break just on the course without even having an accident. The cenotes was definitely neat, but DO NOT go under the water, do not get the water in your mouth or ears, and do not swim here with open cuts, the water is full of bat feces. After swimming in this cenote I got very sick for 24 hours. Diarrhea, fever, body aches and fatigue. After doing some reading this is very common, especially if water gets in your mouth or ears. I had been in 3 different cenotes at different sites prior to this and did not get sick from those ones, but they did not have bats in them.

My husband and I, made the reservations for 9/23/23 with our concierge, Patricia at the EL TAJ Hotel in Playa Del Carmen. We had a wonderful time with these activities. My favorite was all three. We did the ATV first and it was bumpy, fast, and about 30 minutes. The instructor, “Brian” was excellent with explaining about each activity. Second was the Tequila tasting. That was a surprise to me!! 🥃The history was very interesting of how tequila is made from the Agave Plant and the length of time for it to be ready to drink (14 years). Third we went to the Cenote (a big water hole) but made by nature and fourth came back to go Zip Lining ( thank you Natalie for helping) and finally we had eatenTaco’s, taste very good🌮🌮. While eating, there was entertainment of a drum ceremony, very good. Thank you for a “Happy Birthday!!” Everyone was very professional👍🏾👍🏾‼️‼️

From the ATV adventure to the tequila tasting, cenote exploration, zip-lining, and enjoying delicious tacos, it seems like a day filled with fun and adventure. It's great to hear that Brian and Natalie provided excellent guidance and assistance throughout the tour, and the entertainment added to the overall experience. We're thrilled that you had a memorable birthday celebration and that everyone involved in the tour was professional. Your detailed review will surely help others looking for an exciting excursion in Playa del Carmen and Cancun. - David Lyke
The activities were fun. We did the zip-line, ATV, and cenote swim. Cost is pretty good. We wore safety helmets for the zip-line and ATV. The helmets were very dirty and gross. They smell horrible and probably never washed. Your hair will end up smelling like that horrible smell. Did not like that they did not allow us to have anything on us including our cellphones for the zip-line and ATV. I kept my phone on me and they confiscated it away when they discovered I had it. I don’t understand why we can’t have our cellphones on us. Overall the experience was fun but I think their are better ones out there that do the similar activities. Didn’t like them keep pushing us to tip them constantly.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Cenote, Zipline & ATV Shared Combo tour. It's great to hear that you found the activities themselves to be enjoyable and that the cost was reasonable. However, it's disappointing to learn about the issues you encountered with the cleanliness of the helmets and the restriction on having cellphones during certain activities. Your feedback about these aspects is important for potential future participants to know. Regarding the helmets, it's concerning that they were dirty and had a bad smell. Clean and well-maintained equipment is essential for ensuring the safety and comfort of participants, so it's unfortunate that this was not the case. As for the policy prohibiting cellphones during certain activities, this can vary depending on the tour operator's safety protocols and rules. While it's understandable that they may have concerns about distractions or the risk of losing items during the activities, it's important for tour operators to communicate these policies clearly to participants beforehand. The constant pressure to tip is also something that can detract from the overall experience. While tipping is customary in many places, it should never feel obligatory or forced. Tour operators should strive to provide excellent service without creating discomfort or obligation for tipping. Thank you again for sharing your feedback, as it helps others make informed decisions about their own experiences.
Guides were rude and rushed us through things. ATV was just a big circle path with nothing to see. We weren’t allowed to keep our phones with us so we couldn’t take any pictures ourselves. They took pictures and wanted us to buy them for $35 per picture. They didn’t have any water available to drink while zip lining so everyone was very dehydrated and shaky making it unsafe. All they were concerned about was reminding us to tip them. The guide rushed my sister off the zipline and she fell and badly sprained her ankle but no one stopped to check on her. It was like pulling teeth to get them to give us a bag of ice for her to put on it. She had to sit down on a bench so she could put her leg up and it was away from the food area so when they served lunch, they wouldn’t let us take her any food. And when the van came to take us back they wouldn’t allow the driver to stop and pick her up. She was in a lot of pain and could barely walk but they insisted she get up and walk over to the van.
I'm truly sorry to hear about your terrible experience with the Cenote, Zipline & ATV Shared Combo tour. Your feedback is concerning, and it's clear that there were several issues that impacted your enjoyment and safety during the excursion. Firstly, the behavior of the guides, including rudeness and rushing participants through activities, is unacceptable. Tour guides should prioritize the safety and comfort of participants and ensure that they have a positive experience throughout the tour. The restriction on keeping phones and the high price for purchasing photos is disappointing, especially when participants are unable to capture their own memories of the experience. Access to water is essential, especially during physical activities like zip-lining, and it's concerning to hear that this was not provided, leading to dehydration and discomfort among participants. The incident involving your sister's injury is particularly distressing. It's unacceptable that the guides did not stop to check on her after the fall, and the lack of assistance and compassion shown towards her during this time is deeply troubling. Additionally, the refusal to provide her with food and the insistence on her walking to the van despite her injury is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of concern for her well-being. Once again, I apologize for the distressing experience you had, and I hope that steps are taken to address the issues raised. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Great focus on safety. Instructions in English. Lunch was ok. Cenote is open sun with a zip line and high platform or stairs down to water. Very hospitable. Transportation available from Playa del Carmen. Would do again.
It's fantastic to hear that you had a positive experience with the Cenote, Zipline & ATV Shared Combo tour! Safety is always a top priority, so it's reassuring to know that the staff focused on ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Having instructions available in English is incredibly helpful for international travelers, making it easier to understand and follow along with the activities. The description of the cenote with its open sun environment, zip line, and high platform sounds exhilarating, and it's great to hear that the staff were hospitable throughout the experience. Transportation availability from Playa del Carmen adds convenience for travelers staying in that area, making the tour accessible to a wider audience. It's wonderful to hear that you would consider booking this tour again, which speaks volumes about the quality and enjoyment of the experience. Thank you for sharing your positive review, and we hope you have many more memorable adventures in the future!
