Itinerario
Inizieremo il nostro tour gastronomico presso il famoso Tasty Dumpling, dove assaggerai i loro gnocchi di maiale ed erba cipollina saltati in padella. Mentre mangi, la tua guida turistica ti insegnerà alcuni trucchi del mestiere su come rendono i loro ravioli così deliziosi.
Sulla strada per la prossima sosta gastronomica, visiteremo Mosco Street. Questa strada può essere piccola ma ospita alcuni esempi di street art cinese unici e offre anche uno dei migliori punti panoramici per fotografare il One World Trade Center.
Il nostro tour gastronomico non sarebbe completo senza visitare Mei Lai Wah. Questo ristorante di quasi 60 anni è famoso per la vendita dei migliori panini di maiale Char Siu della città. Un vero piacere per la folla, preparano del maiale dolce, speziato e succulento prima di infilarlo in un panino Bao cinese al vapore. La nostra prossima fermata è a Doyer Street, alias Murder Alley. Situata nel cuore di Chinatown, questa strada ha una storia oscura ed era il luogo in cui le bande cinesi rivali risolvevano le loro divergenze nel 1800 (non preoccuparti però, ora la strada è molto sicura!)
Successivamente, ci dirigeremo allo Spongies Cafe per provare un pan di spagna in stile Hong Kong abbinato a un campione del loro tè tailandese dolce fatto in casa. La torta leggera e ariosa e il tè rinfrescante rendono la combinazione perfetta: una delizia unica e deliziosa da non perdere!
Mentre lasciamo Chinatown e attraversiamo Little Italy, avremo l'opportunità di fermarci al cartello "Welcome to Little Italy". Questo luogo iconico offre il luogo perfetto per scattare una foto veloce nel cuore di Little Italy con l'Empire State Building sullo sfondo.

Excellent and great portions to try. Will have substitute choices if you are vegetarian. Seth was fantastic and took his time in explaining the food, the history, and the area where we toured. We chose the 10:30 tour as our “lunch plans” for the day. Well worth the cost of the tour.
we had the pleasure of having alex as our tour guide. she was amazing and it ended up just being our party during the tour which was super nice and we actually got to hear the history and have a more immersed experience. the food was all soooo yummy. had the best time! the cheesecake was by far the winner. definitely worth the money would 100% do it again. it was the perfect amount of time and walking for us and we ended up being in soho for more shopping after

Great tours guide, shexwas very informative and knowledgeable about the area. For me it was way too much walking and I bailed out halfway through to tour. I wish I had known before it was walking a lot of city blocks. The blocks are narrow and really crowded making it difficult to maneuver. Not their fault but mine for not asking before booking.

You're right that the Chinatown and Little Italy food tour covers a good stretch of blocks, and those streets get narrow and crowded, so it's a fair thing to flag for anyone booking. This has been the highlight of our trip to New York! David is super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. We enjoy learning different interesting facts about the city and the neighborhoods. All the food we had was great! This is a great way to see and taste these iconic places in the city. Highly recommend!

Emily was a fantastic host! She provided history of the areas and was so prepared at every spot. All the food was fantastic and we got to explore Chinatown and Little Italy.
