Si consiglia di indossare scarpe comode da passeggio, un cappello o un berretto, la crema solare, una borraccia e un costume da bagno per nuotare nel cenote (nuotare è facoltativo). Si tratta di un'attività di gruppo in cui sarete accompagnati in ogni momento da una guida bilingue certificata, che vi fornirà una spiegazione dettagliata della cultura Maya e dell'area archeologica di Chichen Itza. Visiterete anche un cenote dove potrete fare il bagno e farete una sosta per visitare la città coloniale di Valladolid. Questo tour include: trasporto di andata e ritorno, pranzo a buffet con specialità regionali, biglietto d'ingresso alla zona archeologica e accesso al cenote. All'interno del sito archeologico di Chichen Itza avrete tempo libero per visitare i luoghi e scattare foto ricordo. A Valladolid è possibile visitare la Chiesa di San Servacio.

Hanno 30 minuti di tempo libero per passeggiare nello Zocalo e visitare la chiesa
Visitate il Cenote per ammirare la sua bellezza naturale e nuotare nelle sue acque cristalline e rinfrescanti. A questo punto, offrono il giubbotto di salvataggio e l'armadietto a un costo aggiuntivo.
Gruppi massimi di 25 viaggiatori assegnati a ciascuna guida per circa 50 minuti, che fornirà loro la spiegazione della cultura Maya all'interno del sito archeologico, in seguito avranno 40 minuti di tempo libero all'interno del sito archeologico per fare un giro e scattare le loro fotografie ricordo della visita a Chichen Itza. I prelievi iniziano alle 06:30, a seconda dell'ubicazione dell'hotel o del punto di incontro. Preleveremo ogni passeggero dal suo hotel. Qualora l'hotel non fosse raggiungibile, il passeggero verrà informato in anticipo del punto di incontro per il prelievo.

Amazing but long. We got picked up from our hotel at 7 am and didn't get dropped back off until 9:30 pm. If you're staying somewhere expensive, you're probably not getting your money's worth this day. Highly recommend you pack cold water as it isn't provided except for 2 tiny ones totaling less than half a liter. Cenote was such an amazing experience after the heat. Guide Jorge was fun and had tons of great info for us about the whole Mayan experience. He did great! Shuttle pick up was a little tricky as we weren't sure what was going on at first (driver didn't speak English) and then got dropped off with a bunch of other people before transferring to a big bus. Lots of ways to spend money you didn't expect, so pack bug spray and sunscreen and lots of water, snacks, and a few hundred pesos. Mayan buffet was a great experience and town was beautiful, but food was not prepared using bottled water. Drinks are also not included, and cost probably $8-10 at lunch, but there's a coffee shop with more reasonable prices immediately after getting off the bus. Ruins are epic but hot, hot, hot and dry, dry, dry. Shade umbrellas buckle in strong breezes. My girls almost passed out so we left the tour and bought water (1.2 liters each) and rested in the shade. Overall it was a neat experience. Guides are full of info. Just know it is a very long day and pack accordingly and be ready to adventure and not always know what's going on. Excursion has 4 parts: Mayan Pueblo, ruins, cenote, colonial town, in that order. Lots of time spent on a bus that day (450+ km). Ruins and cenote were the highlights. Good tour, just know what you're getting into. If I were going to do it again, I'd look for a tour with just the ruins and cenote.
