I had booked many trips through Viator and this is one that I did not enjoy the service. The trip is suppose to be VIP but there's nothing about it that was VIP. It sells itself a certain way and once you are there the service is not the same. The breakfast was by far the worst food I have had and so was the lunch. The drinks on the bus (beer and water) was very limited and they would only giving it to you during certain times. The tour did not say we needed cash, bug spray or certain things that were later sold to us. They were very pushy, pretty aggressive on the tipping and extra money that we did not plan on needing. At the end of the tour they asked us to tip 100 pesos to the person working the car (this was about the 7th time we have been asked for additional money) and they stopped the large couch bus in the middle of the road to get us off and into a smaller bus( why couldn't they park somewhere?) and it end it off they sent us to playa de carmen (an extra 1.5 on a bus) even though we were the first exit, the bus driver didn't want to make a turn, he also pulled over and peed on the side of the road which is gross. I am happy I went to Chichen-Itza but regret booking this tour. The full tour time was 14 hours and only 2 of them were at Chichen-Itza.

The tour is very good, informative and interesting. It is a bit long and does get quite tiring. The tour guides are excellent and like most places in Mexico you are encouraged constantly to purchase additional items. This distracts from the tour and the experience. It would be much better to have more time at the Cenote and less time at the lunch stop and souvenir shop.

This tour is a long day and scheduled really tight to fit everything in. It's a long ride to the cenote, you have enough time to swim and shop and eat but no extra time. Then it's a long ride to Chichen Itza, but that is definitely worth it!! Then it's a very brief stop in Valladolid to see the church only before a long ride home. Definitely exhausting. Our tour guide was fantastic and incredibly knowledgable!!! If you're debating, it's definitely worth it to do the VIP version of this tour instead with the alcohol and breakfast and umbrellas. But this company was great regardless!

The tour guide Samuel was very helpful and provided plenty of information on the Mayan civilization. I highly recommend taking this tour and enjoying one of the seven wonders of the modern world.

The tour was great with an awesome food buffet for lunch! Family friendly and would recommend to anyone:-)

Great tour. Sam our tour guy was great too and explain everything for us. I would definitely recommend it
