La più grande attrazione del paradiso ecoturistico di Celestún è la Riserva della Biosfera di Celestún; La sua superficie di 591.139 ettari e la sua lunghezza di 21 km è considerato lo spazio naturale più bello dello Yucatán. Si trova a 95 km da Mérida, nella penisola dello Yucatán. Tra le sue attrazioni naturali c'è la sorgente Baldiosera dove si può nuotare, c'è anche la sorgente Cambay che è un occhio d'acqua dolce e infine c'è Tambor, il nido del fenicottero rosa o detto Caribeño o conosciuto come Meco. I fenicotteri Celestún sono i più rosa per la concentrazione di carotene nell'acqua. Si osservano nel loro ecosistema naturale a bordo di imbarcazioni guidate dalla gente del posto. Getting up close to these beautiful birds was an amazing experience. Our guide, Santiago, was excellent. Next to the dock area lives a colony of raccoons. Having never seen these animals before, this was a bonus. The lunch was 3 courses, delicious and in a scenic beachside restaurant. We recommend this tour.

We were able to enter the mangrove which is clearly extraordinary. This is the real plus of this excursion! The pink flamingos are certainly very beautiful, but they pass for us in the background.

i love this place the weather is very good, the sea the flamingosnlook so beautifull in pink, i went with my family the place is beautifull in addition to the fact that in some surroundings thereare pleasant and beautifull spaces to take photos

The tour was good. Our guide picked us up a few minutes after the scheduled pickup time and drove us to Celestun. The boat ride to see the flamingos was interesting. After the flamingos our guide drove us to a nearby restaurant on the beach and informed us our tour included a fish plate for lunch and if we wanted to eat anything besides the fish we would have to pay for it. It would have been nice if the tour included two different options because two of us on the tour do not like fish. Not a big deal because the prices were cheap, but would have been nice. Overall it was a good day.
