Se siete attraccati al molo di atterraggio dell'oceano il camminatore medio impiegherà circa 10 - 15 minuti a piedi attraverso il porto al luogo di prelievo dal cancello principale / navetta bus Round About. Cammina lungo il lungomare. Entra nel Cannery Museum o nell'edificio dell'Alaska Gift Shop. Camminare FINO IN FONDO attraverso entrambi gli edifici e uscire alla fine. Proseguire oltre il negozio di ciambelle Lil Gen, oltre la cabina "Ticket" e proseguire fino al bus navetta principale Round About circondato da grandi tronchi. Sul lato opposto dell'uscita Round About tra City of Hoonah Visitor Info Booth e la baracca rossa di sicurezza. L'autista sarà lì con il cartello bianco del giorno. Se sei attraccato al WILDERNESS DOCK dovrai lasciare il tempo per la fila alla gondola verde GRATUITA dal molo della nave alla zona portuale principale. Uscire dalla cabinovia e prendere il piccolo sentiero ghiaioso fino al Centro Escursioni. Attraversa l'hub escursioni, oltrepassa i bagni ed entra nell'Alaska Gift Shop o nel Cannery Museum. Camminare FINO IN FONDO attraverso l'edificio e uscire. Proseguire a piedi oltre il negozio di ciambelle Lil Gen, oltre la cabina "Ticket" verso il bus navetta principale circondato da grandi tronchi. Sul lato opposto dell'uscita Round About tra la cabina City of Hoonah Visitor Info e la baracca rossa di sicurezza. L'autista sarà dall'altra parte della baracca di sicurezza con il cartello bianco Catch of the Day.

Captain Dennis and Captain Justin were really great! They were both incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area and took us to amazing spots. We saw a few humpbacks, sea lions, sea otters, and an entire pod of orcas. The orcas (which were only in the area for a short period of time) were very playful with each other and came right up to our boat!
They took the extra time to tell us some history, knowledge about the sea life, and made us feel welcomed
We had a great experience and weather! The most important lots of whales and orca . I would recommend catch of the day!
THIS IS A MUST DO in Hoonah!!! Our captain was fabulous. We were so lucky to have even been able to see and capture a baby killer whale jumping out of the water. What an amazing day.

Incredible experience that everyone should have the opportunity to do! The humpback whales and groups of orcas that we saw and came so close to was something we will never forget! And the vessel was not overcrowded so everyone got to enjoy the encounter. Highly recommend!!!!

Our Catch of the Day experience was amazing! Our boat captains David and Justin were personable, as well as knowledgeable of the area. The guys educated us on identifying whales and were able to find pods of orcas and a humpback for us to view. The whales were right next to the boat, and we were able to capture some great pictures. We were also fortunate to see some brown bear on the shoreline during our time on the bay watching the whales. I highly recommend this excursion if you are visiting the Icy Straight Point-Hoonah area.

This was a great trip. It’s a small boat so there isn’t a huge crowd. They now where to go to see whales and the captain has a great sense of humor. Highly recommend this tour.

This was an amazing experience on a very intimate boat with only 12 other people. Not a huge cruise ship tour. Also allows you to go into hoonah and see the local spots which I would recommend. Our guides were amazing and we saw orcas and so many whales. I would highly recommend picking this over one versus your large cruise ship whale watch
