We respectfully disagree with this review because it does not accurately reflect what happened. Yes, we notified you the evening before your tour. We waited as long as reasonably possible because we were closely monitoring the marine weather forecast, hoping conditions would improve. Unfortunately, they did not, and rather than risk our guests' safety or compromise the quality of the experience, we made the difficult decision to cancel. As we clearly communicated, the decision was based on the weather forecast together with the fact that we had a reduced group. We operate intentionally in **small groups**, and under uncertain marine conditions, that is an important operational consideration. We would rather cancel a tour and issue a full refund than operate under conditions we are not comfortable with. You received a **100% full refund** immediately, allowing you to book with another operator. We are glad you were able to enjoy the islands. However, the fact that another company decided to operate does not make our decision dishonest. Every operator has different group sizes, routes, and safety standards. We choose not to compromise ours. What is particularly disappointing is the suggestion that we were not truthful. We never hid the reason for the cancellation. We explicitly informed you that the weather forecast and the reduced group led us to cancel the experience, and we honored that decision with a full refund. Last-minute cancellations are never ideal, and we sincerely regret the inconvenience they cause. However, we will always prioritize responsible decision-making, safety, and delivering the premium small-group experience we promise rather than operating simply because a reservation was made. That philosophy is reflected in the trust and consistently excellent reviews we have earned from thousands of guests.
