This was by far one of the most fun things I’ve done with my family (no little kids!!!). If you’re athletic, you’re going to love the challenge, and it was so exciting to watch everyone push themselves a bit and have such a blast doing it. The guides were so good, and the canyon was spectacular. There was a perfect mix of all the things-trekking through the water, hiking, zip lining, jumping off rocks into pools below, rappelling! It was unforgettable for us.

If you are experienced in canyoneering, it may not be what you are expecting as you don't get to rappel yourself. This is fully guided experience.

Fun and exhilarating. Guides knew what they were doing but very hands off so you could have fun and test your limits safely. Fav part of my trip so far and the end video was silly

We were on the Canyoning Grimsel Tour last Saturday. We had a lot of fun, and our tour guide Rayno did a great job! An unforgettable experience that we would definitely recommend and would do again. What a fun way to start the day! It was a gloomy/chilly day, but we made the best of it starting off with a big rappel and getting wet! Gerard C. was our guide and he was confident, friendly, and kept the pace moving- I really appreciated his explanations of how to get through the canyon and he was available to help at any point....still giggling at how fast, and comfortably he tied the knots for the rappel (felt too casual in the moment ;P) I assume that the gloomy day lent to having such a small group during our session- and this made it feel more like we all knew each other and that we could play! The price was totally worth the fun and thrill- Set up was easy- Gerard eyed our sizes and knew exactly what gear was needed and fast! After the adventure, we were treated to lunch and drinks, and especially loved the thoughtfully included cheese from the farm we were parked at!

The excursion was organized by A-Z top. We were lucky and were only 4th, which made the experience even more individual. During the canyoning, our pace and needs were always taken into account. Our guide Hidde was excellent and even talked me away from my fear of heights. Also the safety was top, you never felt unsafe in the canyon. In the end there was a fine lunch with fresh bread and cheese from the local farmer - the perfect conclusion.

Trust your guides they were excellent and incredibly fun. Highly recommend doing the largest jump in the canyon you won’t regret it.
