Nella nostra seconda tappa, visitiamo Teotitlan del Valle, in un laboratorio di famiglia dove questa comunità è famosa per i coloranti naturali ricavati da radici, fiori e insetti, il più importante dei quali è il colore rosso della grana di cocciniglia. La nostra Guida insieme all'artigiano ci darà una dimostrazione del processo, dei coloranti e dei prodotti realizzati con la lana di pecora.
La prima tappa del nostro tour è una breve ma interessantissima sosta per ammirare il famoso albero di tule, l'albero più largo del mondo. Ingresso facoltativo non incluso (20 MXN) MARZO 2026
Visiteremo anche la seconda zona archeologica più importante di Oaxaca, Mitla, unica nel suo genere per le raffinate decorazioni intagliate che adornano i suoi palazzi. La nostra guida condividerà con noi la storia del luogo e la sua passione per il sito.Faremo una visita guidata e avremo del tempo libero per esplorare il sito e il vicino mercato dell'artigianato. Durante il tour faremo anche una sosta per il pranzo, indicativamente tra le 13:00 e le 14:00. Si tratta di un ristorante a buffet che serve piatti della cucina oaxacana; si consiglia di fare una colazione leggera per poter approfittare al meglio del buffet. Si è optato per un buffet perché il cibo è pronto da consumare e, viste le dimensioni e le esigenze di un gruppo numeroso, rappresenta l'opzione più pratica. A volte sono disponibili anche opzioni di menu (soggette a disponibilità presso il ristorante, alta stagione). Se questa non è un'opzione, puoi anche portare il pranzo da casa. Una delle tappe più belle del tour, ma anche la più lontana, è quella che vi permetterà di ammirare le splendide cascate di Hierve el Agua. In questo luogo avrete del tempo libero (2 ore) per esplorare, nuotare o fotografare i paesaggi montani e le formazioni rocciose, a vostra discrezione. INGRESSO NON INCLUSO 70 MXN MARZO 2026
La parte migliore del tour per i nostri visitatori è la visita a una distilleria di mezcal tradizionale, dove possono apprendere brevemente il processo di produzione del mezcal e degustare più di 20 gusti diversi.

Good tour, very friendly guide and driver. Always attentive to the passengers. Excellent destinations to know
We had no guide that traveled to the sites with us (and no information at all given at the Tule tree or Hierve el agua), only a driver. The main problem is that this is advertised as a bilingual tour… I am glad I speak Spanish and English. When we boarded the van, nothing was said to us until we got to the Tule tree, and then it was just that we had 30 min to walk around. No information about the site or its significance. However what was said, was in Spanish only, so I translated for some of the non-Spanish speakers, who, bear in mind, thought they signed up for an English tour. When we got to the next stops, a Spanish/English speaking participant of the group had to translate the instructions that were given from the driver. It is not the fault of the participants for not knowing Spanish if they signed up for a tour that was advertised as being in English… and that was for the stops where we had a guide.
Very complete the experience, you know a lot about the history and traditions of Oaxaca, as well as amazing places. Recommended 100%

Long day, but totally worth it! I loved the variety of activities, the fun international group and the masterful tour guide. I felt that I got to SEE Oaxaca, from pre Columbia to modern times. The calcified waterfalls were better that any pictures I saw before hand and were the highlight of the day. There was a great balance of tour and solo time.
Our tour was absolutely fantastic and exceptionally well-planned. From start to finish, everything was seamless, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. You could truly see his passion for his work, which made the tour even more special. Beyond just sharing facts, he made every moment captivating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him. Our driver, Hector, was an absolute gem—kind, courteous, and always looking out for us. He ensured we traveled comfortably and safely, always ready to lend a hand as we got in and out of the vehicle. Together, Angel and Hector made this tour an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better team, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an amazing journey!
