Il punto di partenza del tour, dal negozio BeerWalks nella vivace strada di Istedgade, un tempo il quartiere a luci rosse assoluto di Copenaghen, oggi si è trasformato in qualche quartiere molto diverso (e costoso)! Ancora una delle zone più interessanti di Copenaghen!
La strada principale della zona di Vesterbro, Istedgade, trasuda diversità. Tra negozi di porno e strip bar ci sono alcune delle migliori boutique, ristoranti e bar della città. Per molti anni Istedgade è stata dominata dalla droga, dal porno e dalle prostitute, ma oggi la famosa strada si è trasformata in qualcos'altro, soprattutto nella parte di fronte alla stazione centrale di Copenaghen, pur mantenendo alcune delle sue vibrazioni autentiche nell'altra.
Ascolta la storia di cosa fosse Skydebanehaven, ai tempi. Oggi è un parco giochi attrezzato Skydebanehaven è uno dei parchi giochi gestiti da Copenaghen. Lo staff non si prenderà cura dei bambini, ma organizzerà attività come tornei sportivi, cacce al tesoro e altro ancora. Il parco giochi mette a disposizione anche piccole biciclette, gocart e monopattini a disposizione dei bambini, purché li rimettano a posto dopo l'uso.

Dopo una completa ristrutturazione nel 2007, Sønder Boulevard è diventato un popolare tratto di verde a Vesterbro utilizzato per il relax e i ritrovi da persone di tutte le età e di tutti i ceti sociali. Sønder Boulevard ospita molti ottimi negozi e ristoranti. È anche un tratto privilegiato per passeggiare con i cani. Originariamente sede delle aziende dell'industria della carne di Copenaghen, "Kødbyen" si è trasformato in un nuovo e creativo quartiere con gallerie, locali notturni e ristoranti. Il Meatpacking District è composto da due parti: The Brown e The White, rispettivamente del 1878 e del 1934, e fa parte del quartiere Vesterbro di Copenaghen. La parte un tempo industriale e grintosa della città è diventata alla moda e popolare grazie alla sua posizione centrale e all'ampia offerta culturale, inclusa una vivace vita notturna. Oggi puoi ancora incontrare alcune aziende alimentari nella zona, dove l'atmosfera industriale originale persiste insieme ai frequentatori di feste e ai ritrovi locali.

We always try to appreciate the local craft beer when we travel overseas. This tour was outstanding, not only for the different beers we sampled, it was a really good walking tour of the Copenhagen a lot of people miss. Our host was Morten Wagner, who was an informative, fun and gracious host. Oh by the way, Copenhagen breweries make great beer!!!
Gun tour with an extremely eloquent guide. The burning enthusiasm for beer was felt and his knowledge of the art and crafts of brewing beer was extensive. From there, I learned more about beer and about Denmark’s importance for the world’s beer production. All in all a really good and fun experience.

I had invited family and friends to Krimi BeerWalk on Vesterbro. Here we got stories about rockers, bank robberies and other exciting stories. Spicy with good and spicy beers, it was a great way to be together. It can really be recommended.

Super cozy trip with Beerwalks on Vesterbro in Copenhagen. Dedicated guide that tells both old and new anecdotes in and around the cosy neighborhood of Copenhagen supplemented by good and exciting taste experiences of good beer including a nice "tour" in the world of beer. Brilliant experience. Christoffer, who is also the owner, is a humourous, talented, and incredibly knowledgeable guide. When visiting a city my primary concerns will always be trying to find the slightly different approaches that lets me both see, experience, and - most importantly of all - taste the place I'm visiting. BeerWalks does exactly that and at a fantastic rate where I really feel I get the bang for my buck that I'm looking for: beer tastings at perfect intervals, stories about the things you see on the walk, and lots of background info about both the beer and the inhabitants of the areas you walk through. Despite having been in Copenhagen many times over, and having had my fair share of guided tours involving beer, I still managed to learn tons of new things about both Copenhagen and beer.
