Best Night Out! - lezione di salsa e ballo "in the wild"

Dance instructor was actively engaging. But, it was in someone's apartment turned into a dance studio! The host should offer bottled water not water from a pitcher. The dance lesson lasted approximately 1 hour but the transition to the night out part was not as expected. We were taken to one club that had no salsa that night and the other club was empty so we left.

Very fun class. We got the basic steps taught by a wonderful instructor. I would definitely take another class the next time I'm in Panama City Panama

The young lady who gave the dance lessons was very nice. The problem I had with the experience was that after the short lesson which began at 7pm and was over at around 8pm, there was a problem with where the club dancing was going to take place. We walked to 3 different locations and either something else was going on or it looked like it was closing. Finally we arrived at an outdoor place and we were told that we should sit and wait until 9 pm I guess that was when the dancing would take place. I don't know what happened because I decided to leave.

Wonderful! We started off in a studio and learned a few moves. Teacher is very good. If you are a beginner, he can teach simple moves, and if you are advanced, he can challenge you with more creative moves. After our studio lesson, we went to a night club and danced. The teacher danced with us, so we felt comfortable. I recommend this class, not only for the dance lessons, but also to spend an enjoyable evening in a night club with a live band and good food.

A nice small group and a whole lot of fun. Both of our instructors were so great! All of us were band new to the movements of salsa, so it took some time to get the basics to sink in. They were patient and made the class extremely fun. I would suggest the safari option and just have a night of fun practicing what you just learned. Both instructors danced with me in the lounge and made the night just an amazing experience for me. I'll do this again and again anytime I visit.

The salsa lesson began on time. The instructors were delightful and patient. I would take lessons weekly if I were local.

This was such a fun and authentic way to experience salsa dancing “in the wild” with the Salsa Safari team. You don’t need a partner because the instructors dance with you and keep the energy high. The salsa lesson with Elier was engaging, fun and easy to follow. Martha and the Salsa Safari team welcomed me with open arms, and as a solo traveler, I felt safe and included the whole time. It felt like a night out with friends, and we danced the night away in a local Columbian restaurant. It was such a vibrant, high-energy experience and a great way to meet people. Highly recommend for solo travelers, couples or groups – the music is contagious and keeps everyone moving! Don't think twice, just book it!

I've taken many salsa dance lessons and this one was the best by far. Elimer has wonderful teaching techniques that even had my stoic husband ready to sign up for more lessons. He is also very friendly and has an extensive dance resume for a young man. We are now ready to learn more Afro Cuban and Cuban dance on our next visit it Panamá.

Had a blast with the crew at Salsa Safari! I learned some new moves and met some great people. The dancing venue was in point too-danced until my feet said no mas!

The location for the class is a small, cute studio. The instructor was great... explained things & repeated basics as much as we needed. That portion lasted about an hour. The next part got weird... I thought we would go dancing in the "wild" but instead he took us to the Hilton Casino. He offered to dance with each of us then literally bounced. Granted he said he wasn't feeling well but he could have at least told us other places to go on our own. We sat there for about an hour waiting for the "show". We watched a dance group perform then we left. I found a dancehall party for us to go to and have fun. I booked what I thought was a salsa night. It was really an overpriced class that dumped us off.
