Alle 8:50, la nostra guida di lingua inglese ti incontrerà di fronte alla porta d'ingresso principale dell'edificio dell'Office de Tourisme di Lione, situato in piazza Bellecour (50 m di fronte all'Hotel Le Royal). Dopo una breve passeggiata, i partecipanti saliranno sul minivan da 8 posti per iniziare l'escursione.
Inizia la giornata esplorando il Beaujolais, considerata la regione vinicola più bella della Francia, e scopri la bellezza sconosciuta del Paese delle Pietre d'Oro. Sosta nella città di Châtillon d'Azergues per ammirare i castelli del XIII secolo circondati dalle mura di cinta.
Quindi attraversa diverse città medievali costruite in pietre color ocra, tra cui Chessy Les Mines e le città di Bagnols. Visita l'incantevole villaggio pittoresco di Oingt, elencato tra i 157 paesini più belli di Francia. Cammina per la strada principale, visita la chiesa di Saint Mathieu e goditi le viste panoramiche di paesaggi mozzafiato con dolci colline punteggiate di vigneti.

Nel pomeriggio, dopo un autista di 45 minuti, scopri la città medievale di Pérouges, un'attrazione da non perdere che ti fa viaggiare indietro nel tempo al Medioevo! Cammina lungo le strade acciottolate e apprezza l'architettura delle antiche case dal XIII al XVI secolo. Scopri la storia francese mentre scopri questa ambientazione unica utilizzata più volte per film di sottofondo tra cui i 3 moschettieri. Infine, goditi 30 minuti di tempo libero: passeggia tra piccoli negozi di souvenir artigianali o prova la specialità locale frittella chiamata "galette" (non inclusa nel tour).
Alle 17:15, la nostra guida ti riporterà a Lione e ti lascerà in piazza Bellecour di fronte all'Office de Tourisme di Lione. Fine di una bella giornata!

Fantastic time of year to explore "the most beautiful villages of France!" Gorgeous buildings, wineries, food, ruins & shops. Bring your walking shoes, Google Translate (for the parking instructions and church explanations), and clothing layers. With only one exception, everyone was fantastically (sp?) NICE!! We had a lovely time wandering and learning. Highly recommend!!
Such an enjoyable day! From the outset, Sebastian made the tour interesting and fun. Despite the rain in the morning, we enjoyed the journey through the besujolais countryside and pretty villages. It was great to get a bit of history and geography as well as info about the vibes, setting the ei es into context. We tasted some some fabulous wines, all before lunch (!)especially the reds at the Chateau du Faux, the family vineyard. Lunch was excellent and inexpensive (more wine there toi). Perougyes, the final village on the way home, was gorgeous and full of medieval charm. 10/10 for this tour and the best guide we could have wished for! Loved it! Many thanks, Gill and Christine,

Sebastian our guide was superb. We saw and experienced much of Beaujolais and learnt much about the wines of the region . The drive was comfortable

It was a long day. The small towns were pretty quiet, very few shops open. The family owned vineyard was the highlight, meeting and interacting with the owner. The lunch stop was enjoyable, great menu choices and delicious.

Sebastian made this a wonderful experience. The instructions were clear on where to meet and he explained the events for the day. We headed out in a van from Lyon to Beaujolais. We first visited the town of Oingt, then headed to a winery, then on to Sebastian's family winery, lunch in a small near by town and closed out the day by visiting another medival town, Pérouges. Sebastian shared facts and history of each town as well as information about Lyon so, when we returned to Lyon, we were able to check out a few areas on our own that he had mentioned. I highly recommend booking a tour with Sebastian. He is knowledgable not only about Beaujolais, its wine, but also the history of the area and Lyon.

Oliver is a fantastic guide, very relaxed and accommodating, even did an extra stop so two girls on our tour could get breakfast. Loved the two wineries we visited and the restaurant he chose for lunch. Also visited Oingt as well as Perouges. Highly recommend this tour

I just loved this day. We had a great group of people on our bus, Oliver was amazing, he gave us lots of interesting information and looked after us beautifully. We did 2 medieval villages and 2 wineries with generous pours of wine. It’s a long day but it’s really is perfect. We also stopped for a delicious lunch in Marcy. This was the most picturesque, joyful day and my husband and I just loved it. Thank you Oliver for a wonderful tour - I highly recommend this tour if you are in Lyon.

A very fun day with Sebastian- the highlight was visiting his family's winery and learning more about Beaujolais. We also got to see backroads and small towns that we would not have had the opportunity to see if we had been with a large tour. An amazing lunch, two wine tastings and a nap in the van on the way back. Would highly recommend!
