I booked this experience four months in advance as the highlight of our final full day in Spain, even traveling to Segovia the night before specifically to make the early departure. On the afternoon the day before the flight, we initially received notification that the ride was a go. Less than an hour later, it was abruptly cancelled due to "inclement weather." However, from our hotel balcony, we watched clear skies and at least eight hot air balloons from other companies take off without issue. No rain or significant weather entered the area until hours later around noon. While I understand and respect that safety must come first, it is difficult to accept that conditions were deemed unsafe for this operator alone while every other local company flew successfully. Because we were returning to the U.S. the following day, we had explicitly communicated in advance that we had no buffer for a makeup date, making this outcome all the more frustrating. This was meant to be a first-time experience for our group of three. Unfortunately, choosing the lower-cost option resulted in a canceled experience and a ruined final day in Spain. I cannot recommend this operator based on this experience.

Everything perfect. They are spectacular

Simply spectacular, the team was super attentive and very pleasant, with a friendly approach and good observance of safety rules.

The flight was very good, the staff was great, but the organization of the timing from start to finish is not very good. You arrive and start watching them inflate the balloon, but those of us watching are left standing and a bit cold due to the early hours; a thermos with coffee wouldn't be bad. I mention this to help improve things, and likewise, when finished, they leave you standing outside the balloon in the field watching them have to pack up, while feeling cold. I think this can be avoided by having the staff take us back to the starting point. In my opinion, we customers shouldn't have to wait there. If it can help to improve things, this is my opinion. This was a wonderful experience that had been on my bucket list for a long time. A serene flight over the beautiful town of Segovia and through the valley beside it. Early in the morning, you could hear the birds singing and little else (apart from the bursts of gas!) The flight was about an hour and a half to two hours which gave us plenty of time to take in the views and enjoy the magic of balloon flight. A couple of things though, we were given the wrong co-ordinates to meet up which meant a last minute drive to get to the area where the balloon was being inflated. Also, the pilot didn't speak English which meant we were left out of hearing about a lot of the sights being pointed out. However, we were still able to enjoy the flight itself. Landing was a bit scary with the field being overshot and we passed over a motorway at a very low level before landing in a neighbouring rocky field! Once the balloon was packed away, we were taken back to the launch site where we were treated to champagne and nibbles at the end of the experience. We really enjoyed the flight (despite the landing!) and would recommend it as a great activity when visiting Segovia.
