Authentic Sicilian Cooking Class in Palermo

Francesca is very friendly and humourous. She made the group instantly feel at ease and she is specifically good with children - there were two families as well as three extra adults in the group. We enjoyed learning all sorts of tricks and titbits about Sicilian cooking and made 3 different pasta dishes as well as 3 different sauces. It was excellent fun and the food was delicious. Î recommend this course to all interested in cooking and having a good family time together.

Francesca is wonderful. She opens her home to teach the art of Sicilian cooking. She starts her course with flour and eggs and we go from there. We made three different types of pasta and made three different dishes. All of them were superb. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion! It is a 30 minute urban drive from the docks and worth every second!

Francesca is an excellent teacher and chef. The three pasta cooking class (stuffed ravioli, cavatelli, fettuccine) were delicious, accommodating my family's dietary restrictions (vegan, but allergy and shellfish allergy). She is a warm hostess and very organized chef. Delightful and tasty!

Did this class in Sicily in May 2026 and it far exceeded my expectations! Francesca is a talented teacher and chef, and our group thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning multiple different pasta techniques and sauces in a convivial setting. Francesca was able to adapt the recipes to ensure it catered to both the meat eaters and our one vegetarian equally. Everything we made was delicious and the class left us feeling empowered to try it at home. Highly recommended!

Francesca was fantastic! She had things very organized and also taught us a lot about prepping and cooking. We made 3 different fresh handmade pastas and sauces. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed our meal together. Great family adventure!

Francesca was an absolute delight! I lucked out as the only person to book with her for my particular slot, so got a personal cooking class. She made sure I had the right directions ahead of time, and when I arrived taught me how to make 3 delicious dishes that I will absolutely be making for all my friends when I get home! While we were making the pastas from scratch and making the sauces, each one unique in its own way to Sicily, we talked about why and how each one was done differently here than anywhere else in the world. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Francesca’s class to anyone looking for an authentic experience. 5 stars!

Cooking with Francesca felt like cooking with family, it was warm, fun and delicious! Our kids absolutely adored this experience and it was so special to learn to make so many dishes. We will cherish this memory as a family. Also, the pastas were the best meal we had in all of italy. So delicious! Francesca was a delight to spend the day with and she was wonderful with the whole family!
