A very interesting historical tour of Auckland through Albert Park, in and around the university precinct and concluding with a walk down to the Britomart and along the harbour front. Along the way we learnt about the history of Auckland and the architecture of buildings, saw vibrant street art and a myriad of lanes filled with coffee shops and eateries. We also went to little spots we would not have found on our own such as the breathtaking views from an upper level of Princess Wharf. Paula is a most excellent guide, she is well organised, extremely knowledgeable and presents the content in a most engaging manner. The small group is an added bonus as we felt connected and involved from the very start. This tour is highly recommended We have been to Auckland several times but this tour made Auckland more exciting and real.

Paula was a baby guide for this small group tour. Learned so much. Plenty of time to ask questions and talk with the other two people on the tour. The stop for coffee was such a nice touch. Bathroom stops perfectly timed. Great tour.

Thank you so much for this review and walking with me, it was a pleasure to meet you. Best wishes!
My wife and I were in Auckland for 2 nights before starting our cruise and wanted to book a walking tour of Auckland as we have had some excellent experiences in the past with these type of tours. We arrived at the meeting point this morning and was met by Paula who after the introductions made us aware that we were the only tour participants as others that were due to take part had rescheduled until the following day so we had our very own private tour. Paula was very knowledgeable and gave up so much history of auckland and the culture and history. The tour pace was easy going ingredients and just right in my opinion. We had a stop part way through the tour in a lovely snack/coffee bar which was very welcoming, this gave us time to chat with Paula in a more general way. The tour finished after around 3 hrs or so down by the harbour. This was an excellent tour with an excellent guide and I would highly recommend Paula and her walking tour of Auckland.
Thank you so much Kevin and Sue for walking with me! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour, hope you're having a fabulous time on your cruise. Warm regards, Paula
