Itinerario
Il monastero di Daphni fu fondato verso la fine del VI secolo d.C. sul sito del Santuario di Apollo che era stato profanato dai Goti nel 395. Il Santuario di Apollo fu costruito in stile ionico usando le colonne più sottili e più piccole. Le colonne stanno su una base con una pergamena ornamentale in alto. Alcune delle colonne del tempio sono state conservate. Una delle quattro colonne ioniche dell'antico santuario di Apollo rimane nel sito, in quanto è stata riutilizzata nel monastero di Daphni. Le altre colonne furono rimosse e portate a Londra da Thomas Bruce, conte di Elgin (di fama di Elgin Marbles). Le colonne, i bassi delle colonne e le colonne del Santuario di Apollo sono attualmente in possesso del British Museum.

Successivamente ci dirigeremo verso il Monte Licabetto, il punto più alto di Atene e poi allo Stadio Panathinaiko, il primo stadio dei primi Giochi Olimpici Moderni.

Si prega inoltre di fornirci qualsiasi altro dettaglio di cui avete bisogno circa il vostro pick up. c) Se c'è uno sciopero nel centro della città o un evento speciale che ha effetto sul tour, il tour può cambiare orario di inizio o ITINERARIO secondo le istruzioni dell'operatore e l'accordo del cliente d) Si prega di fornire il maggior numero possibile di recapiti all'operatore anche dopo la prenotazione e) Si prega di indicare all'operatore se ci sono restrizioni sanitarie f) Se la prenotazione partirà dall'aeroporto di Ath Int l'orario del tour inizierà a contare dal ritiro del cliente, quindi non stressarti nei casi di Ritardo dei voli g) Se il tour è abbinato ad un transfer il bagaglio massimo (misura americana 32kl) non può essere superiore a 3 e l'orario di inizio del tour inizia al momento del primo prelievo es.:( C'è un cliente che acquista un tour partendo dal terminal Crociere ma prima vuole essere trasferito al suo Hotel per fare il check-in e poi per iniziare il tour. ) se il cliente desidera servizi extra rispetto a quelli che ha pagato, l'operatore gli addebiterà un extra e il pagamento verrà effettuato all'autista in contanti o carta di credito.

Panos was very attentive and informative. Pick us up at the airport on time 11am and took us straight to the Acropolis. Then Ancient Agora. Then lunch. Only downside is the restaurant included w/tour is 30-40 mins AWAY from all attractions. So you lose a lot of time! There’s so many wonderful restaurants close by. The restaurants right in front of Ancient Agora are excellent! When we finally got back from lunch, we drove around the Parliament and saw the guards walk (not the change of guards). Then the stadium. After the stadium, it was 5pm. Panos offered to take us to temple of Zeus but we were exhausted our long flights, sun burnt (walking around Acropolis). Panos dropped us off at our hotel and helped us w/bags. I recommend this tour, just not beginning from airport (1 hours away from airport).

Dimos was an excellent tour guide. He was professional and very knowledgable. I learned so much. He knew the history and showed us so much. It was truly an amazing day. This tour was fantastic. Very convenient as picked us up from our cruise boat in the morning and dropped us at our accommodation at the end of the tour - what to do with our bags taken care of. It was just my son and I with the driver so we had discretion and an air conditioned car to get into after viewing each attraction. The lunch that come as part of the tour was superb and we got to take the leftovers with us! Last but not least - our driver Achilles was wonderful and made the busy schedule of sight seeing a breeze.

This was a great experience to get a taste of the great parts of Athens! George was our driver and he was very professional. He did his best to tell us everything about each stop and things we drove past. His passion for his country rings through just as much as his joy in sharing it with us. We did a morning tour finishing with lunch at an amazing local fish restaurant. Having a dedicated driver to each place makes a huge difference! My only advice - after you book this tour go online to order your tickets for the Acropolis *not necessary just saves you waiting in the queue. And be hungry! The provided food is a large sampling of local cuisine.

WOW! what a fantastic evening with a terrific guide! Achilles was so knowledgeable and kind. He knew all the best spots and stories to go along with it. We had a beautiful dinner with a variety of foods from Greece to top it off! His vehicle was very nice and clean too!

Tried this excursion because we have a limited time in Athens, we are embarking on a cruise the following day. Our tour guide, ACHILLES picked us at our hotel 10 mins before our appointed time, nice start.He brought us to all the important landmarks and enthusiastically discussed important informations about the places we visited .After the tour we were treated to a delicious Greek dinner and was given a souvenir gift...If you want to have a private tour of Athens, riding in a late model Mercedes Benz , with a very patient , accommodating and knowledgeable tour guide plus sumptuous Greek dinner and a gift, I highly recommend this Tour, satisfaction guaranteed
