Arctic Range Adventures is a very organized, professional tour operator. From initial inquiries, to booking, to the tours and viewings, everything was top-notch. We appreciated the airport pickup and drop off. The guides were fun and well-informed. The tour bus rides were safe and easy for us to get to the various places like the spa and wildlife preserve, in addition to the wonderful Aurora viewing location. Our arctic rental clothing was super warm. Everything was just great!
Hello! Thank you so much for the amazing review. We are thrilled to hear that your experience with Arctic Range Adventure was 'top-notch' from start to finish! It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the convenience of our airport transfers and felt safe and well-cared for by our guides. We pride ourselves on having a team that is both fun and knowledgeable. We hope to welcome you back to the Yukon again soon!
The Wildlife Centre is huge with very large areas for all the animals, including cliffs to climb on for mountain goats and a very large area including wetlands for the 2 moose. It is primarily for rescue animals who are well cared for.
It's great to hear you appreciate the visit to Yukon Wildlife Preserve.
Enjoyed the Wildlife Center and hot springs. It was a long day and thankful to have brought water. The description should mention to bring water.
Thank you for joining our Wildlife & Hot Springs Tour.
Very nice excursion. The guide was kind and gave us a lot of information about animals. And the hot springs are a big WOW!
Merci beaucoup d'avoir participé à notre voyage. Nous espérons vous revoir lors de votre prochain voyage au Yukon.
Hello. I would like to start by saying that our guide was very kind and tried her best. The problem with this tour is that they charge a very steep fee ( $400.00 for both my husband and I) for what is essentially nothing more than a zoo. We barely saw any wildlife as the both the lynx and fox were in hiding that day. Moreover, the organization should ensure that the guide is fluent in English and knowledgeable. While she may have had a wealth of knowledge, our guide struggled to express it as English was not her first language. We definitely didn't get what we paid for and neither will you. In the end, you don't need a guide here folks anymore than you need a guide through a zoo. Pay the $30 entrance fee and skip the tour. You won't regret it.
We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, which is not a zoo. The preserve is home to many native animals of the Yukon and our tour guides are very knowledgeable and bilingual.
Great time out spotting all the Winter wildlife with guides Ashiko and Sam who were very friendly and helpful. The hot springs were the perfect way to end the day warm and relaxed! Loved the Onsen pool and meditation room!
Thank you for joining our Wildlife & Hot Springs Tour. It's great to hear you enjoyed the company of our guides and relaxing soak in the hot springs.
The driver and guide were both great but the tour itself was a little underwhelming. I think the description needs to better describe the tour itself. It was a pleasant afternoon but I wouldnt put this on a must do in Whitehorse
We are sorry to hear the Yukon Wildlife Preserve didn't meet your expectations even though you are able to see some of the most Arctic inhabitants up close.
Guides Liz and Sam were super awesome. Even though there was snow on the ground and roads, Sam was an excellent driver. We saw several animals in the preserve but sadly not the moose, he was hiding. Their commentary was most enlightening and enjoyable. Then the hot springs warmed us up. I would recommend this to anyone going to that area.
Thank you for choosing our tour and we are happy to hear you enjoyed seeing the local wildlife and soaking in the hot springs.
I was a little nervous because I live in California and I traveled by myself to the Yukon to visit my uncles. I am originally from Canada, but have never visited the Yukon before. I knew I'd want to get out and explore so I booked this excursion and I'm SO happy I did!!! They were prompt to pick me up at the Sternwheeler hotel where I stayed for two nights and both of the tour guides were fantastic. Both of their names start with an "M" and almost sound the same, can't for the life of me remember their names but they were incredible people with caring, funny, and knowledgeable personalities! I had SO much fun and the hot springs were absolutely incredible.
We are so glad to see you finally visited the Yukon (being Canadian, eh 😉) and happy to hear you enjoyed your Wildlife Viewing & Hot Springs tour with us.
We didn't get to do the tour with Arctic Range and had to cancel due to flight cancellations/rebooking but the staff was able to cancel and refund our reservation. I appreciated that as it was one less thing to stress about!
We are glad we could assist you with your booking and hope to see you another time.
