We had an amazing bike tour with Scott and would highly recommend it! Scott knows so much about New York and shared lots of interesting facts and stories throughout the tour. The pace was perfect—relaxed and never rushed—which made the whole experience really enjoyable. What made the tour even more special was that Scott took extra time to show us places we would never have found on our own. Those hidden spots made a huge difference and turned a great tour into an unforgettable experience. Thanks again, Scott! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to New York.
I did the 6 hour NY bike tour with Scott. Scott is a great guide and NY historian. The 6 hour tour hits many of the main sites, and lots of lesser known ones only a true local would know about. Riding over the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges was a highlight. Scott knows the history and architecture really well. Highly recommend!
From start to finish, Scott made this bike tour everything I was looking for. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He blends a wealth of intricate facts and details with local color and humor. Scott took my friend and I on a custom tour of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and added a special stop on Governor’s Island just for us. There are a lot of bike tour options in NYC and I am very pleased with everything about Scott’s tour experience. It’s the perfect way to see the city.
We seek out bike tours of the cities that we visit and have done several, including internationally. Scott was definitely top shelf. He was ready for us at the bike shop at the designated meeting time. He showed us a map of the route for the day and asked if there was anything special we wanted to see so he could add it. He is very knowledgeable about the area, the buildings, the back stories, the history, and where the good photo shoot locations are located. I wanted pizza and he took us to a great place in Greenwich village for a lunch stop. Plus a nice waterfront area in Brooklyn for wonderful pain au chocolat which was a nice afternoon break. He did a great job of keeping track of our locations, making sure we were okay on the bikes, and were also comfortable with the route. Highly recommend him for a bike tour of NYC and Brooklyn.
Scott knows NYC and is an excellent guide. I highly recommend him, Scott handles people very well, loves his work, and obviously loves showing off NYC. Even more, Scott is truly interested in the people he guides and loves hearing great stories of their NYC experiences as much as he likes guiding people on the rich traditions and history of NYC. There's no better guide out there.
This was the best bike tour we have ever taken! We saw more in one day than we could have seen in weeks walking! I highly recommend doing this tour. If you like riding your bike and want to see everything you can possibly see up close and get a real feel for the city do it! It was the perfect way to start our vacation and get a feel of where we wanted to spend more time. It was not rushed, we took our time and took breaks when needed. Scott was a great guide, very knowledgeable and just a great person! He will tailor the tour to what you like and want to see as well which was great! I really just cannot say enough good things about this tour. Just take the leap and book it you will not regret it!
Scott lead our group of four friends, all over 60 and one of us just turned 70. We found Scott’s pace very good for a pleasurable cycle around the city. Scott’s knowledge is current, impressive and immence. He was happy to adapt the route to suit our interests and was most generous with his time. Scott was able to show us sights we’d never heard of and to allow us to stop and enjoy the sights when we wanted to. Thank you Scott for a brilliant day out.
Scott did an amazing job of showing us around New York. He asked what we wanted to see and he made it all happen and then some. He provided great historical details for some of the locations and made sure we went to all the best apots for pictures! I have a feiend who is a travel agent and she said we saw more places in 1 day then she has seen in 4 visits. Highly recommend-no better way to see the city!
During our 7-day city trip to New York, this bike tour was a wow experience, the best day of our trip. Scott in front and the two of us behind, we cycled about 50 km through this metropolis via various parts of the city. Cycling was very relaxing because we didn't have to worry about the road, the pace and the busy traffic. Scott guided us through smoothly. Occasionally we made specific stops, we received explanations and there was time to visit on foot. It was wonderful. Highly recommended! Scott was clear in his communication beforehand, knows New York very well, has a positive mindset, is very flexible yet goal-oriented and has a nice sense of humor. Since we only did this trip on the fourth day of our city trip, we had already seen some parts of New York and others not yet. That is why we mainly cycled past parts of the city and places that we had not yet seen, but also past some places that we would like to see a second time. Scott was very flexible in this regard, he adjusted the bike tour based on the things we really wanted to see and do (e.g. take the Roosevelt Island tram and ferry by bike). He also did not specify the hour at all: the tour would last until 3:00 PM or a maximum of 4:00 PM according to the website, without any problems or extra costs it became 5:00 PM. The bikes were in very good condition, with fat tires and enough gears. In short, I can't really say anything negative about this day. It was a great day. Karen Goubert (54 years old)
Great fun day covering Manhattan and Brooklyn by bike with Scott. Saw all the important sights whilst getting exercise in a fun way Scott is very knowledgable
