Amberd (Saghmosavank, monumento alphbet armeno)
Descrizione
Amberd si trova sulla montagna Aragats che è la montagna più alta del moderno territorio armeno. Strada molto bella e un sacco di fenomeni inspiegabili lungo la strada. C'è una parte dove è possibile vedere la zona antigravitazionale dove scorre il fiume.

L'Amberd è una fortezza del VII secolo situata a 2.300 metri sopra il livello del mare, sulle pendici del Monte Aragats, alla confluenza dei fiumi Arkashen e Amberd nella provincia di Aragatsotn, in Armenia. Il nome si traduce in "fortezza tra le nuvole" in armeno. È anche il nome erroneamente attribuito alla chiesa di Vahramashen, la chiesa armena dell'XI secolo vicino al castello.

Excellent trip with Sergey who is a fantastic, friendly, attentive and flexible driver. I especially enjoyed having time to myself to explore.
Very enjoyable tour. Levon tells with passion about each location and was able to answer my questions about the landmarks and basic things about life in Armenia and her history.
The church at Saghmosavank and the canyon in the nature surrounding it, is stunning. The ruins of the Amberd fortress with the church nearby are also worth a visit - not to be missed.

Excellent tour! Very good driver and I am happy that I went with Sergey. He has a comfortable car, speaks good English and will tell you some facts along the way. The stops were impressive. I basically took this tour mainly to visit Amberd and I highly recommend this way to go to the fortress.
