One of the best experiences in DC
I can't recommend this tour enough! Scott and Ben did an amazing job showing us around; we found some incredible spots thanks to them, tried some amazing beer, and had a blast doing it. We did a second tour, and I'm sure we'll be back to do a third!!

10/10 beer tour
Had such a blast on the tour my friend and I joined the evening tour on the same day. Our first guide Scott was awesome, very friendly and knowledgeable about beer. For the second tour we had Ben who was very clearly a local and aside from being a very gracious host and guide, he was able to give us a lot of info about the area that only a local could know.

Local brews
I love beer and this was a fabulous way to try different local breweries without having to worry about directions and driving! We went to 3 different breweries and tried 4 different beers at each so there was great variety. Caleb, our guide, was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed sharing that knowledge.

First time in DC and love going to different breweries. Caleb was our tour guide and was super friendly and easy to get along with. We booked our tour and because it was a Thursday we were lucky enough to have a private tour because it was just my wife and I. Caleb treated us well and gave us a brief history of the DC beer scene along with historical knowledge of beer itself. We toured 3 different breweries Henceforth, Urban Garden (Inaugural tour) and Lost Generation. All the beers were fantastic and the staff was welcoming. This was our last night in DC and it was memorable!

Great brewing tour
We hosted friends from out of town and wanted to showcase the great breweries DC has to offer. Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed getting to visit three unique breweries. The tour included more than enough beer and good snacks. Appreciated the insight shared by staff members at each stop

Great time - highly recommend!
My husband and I had a great time on this brewery tour! Our guide, Caleb, was fantastic and clearly passionate about the local beer scene. We really enjoyed learning more about the DC brewing community while getting to visit and sample some excellent breweries. A really unique and memorable experience that I’d recommend to anyone interested in craft beer!

City Brew Tours DC

A Good Damn Time
I had an amazing experience with City Brew Tours – DC! I planned this for my sister’s bachelorette party, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire celebration.
From my very first contact with the company through the day of the tour, the experience was seamless. The team was incredibly responsive and organized, which made planning so much easier on my end.
The tour itself was fantastic. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience fun while teaching us a lot about the brewing process and the history of beer. Visiting multiple breweries, tasting different styles, and getting behind-the-scenes insights made it feel like much more than just a typical brewery visit.
There was also plenty of time and space between stops for us to celebrate my sister, play a few bachelorette games, and just enjoy the moment together. It made the experience feel relaxed and personal rather than rushed.
Everyone in our group had a great time. Even those who aren’t big beer drinkers enjoyed the experience and learned something new.
Customer service was truly on point from the first email all the way through the follow-up after the event.
If you’re looking for a unique group outing, celebration, or just a fun way to explore the DC craft beer scene, I highly recommend City Brew Tours. Don’t hesitate — it’s absolutely worth it. It was a good damn time.
