Esplorare i ghiacciai più remoti e impegnativi del Lago Argentino è possibile attraverso la vela, offrendo l'opportunità unica di avventurarsi su un catamarano o esplorare dai balconi e dal ponte, ideali per catturare fotografie straordinarie. L'atterraggio alla Base Spegazzini, un lembo di terra in mezzo all'immensità del Lago Argentino e del ghiacciaio. Permette di fare passeggiate con le viste più spettacolari del Parco Nazionale.

Itinerario
Dopo aver prelevato i passeggeri nei loro hotel centrali a partire dalle 7 del mattino, ci dirigeremo in un comodo autobus verso il porto di Punta Bandera, situato a 47 km da El Calafate. Per coloro che scelgono l'opzione senza trasferimento, ci incontreremo al porto di Punta Bandera alle 8:30 per iniziare la navigazione.
Una volta che tutti i passeggeri sono a bordo, si inizia a navigare lungo il Braccio Nord del Lago Argentino alle 9 del mattino. Attraversiamo la Boca del Diablo fino al Canale di Upsala, navigando tra enormi iceberg staccati dal fronte del Ghiacciaio di Upsala. Entrando nel Canale Spegazzini, si gode di una vista panoramica su diversi ghiacciai, con la possibilità di scattare fotografie durante le soste previste per osservare gli imponenti blocchi di ghiaccio.
Durante il tour, i passeggeri avranno l'opportunità di vedere alcuni dei numerosi ghiacciai presenti nel Lago Argentino, tra cui il ghiacciaio Seco, il ghiacciaio Spegazzini, il ghiacciaio South Heim e il ghiacciaio Peineta. Durante la navigazione potrete ammirare i blocchi di ghiaccio da varie angolazioni, che vi permetteranno di scattare le migliori fotografie.
Sbarcheremo a La Base Spegazzini per percorrere il sentiero di 300 metri attraverso il bosco fino al Rifugio Spegazzini. È accessibile e non rappresenta la complessità poiché è fatto su un terreno solido. L'affissione avverrà in diverse stazioni (Glaciologia - Storia - Fauna e Flora) con punti panoramici che si affacciano sull'intera Baia dei Ghiacciai. Una volta al Rifugio si può godere della gastronomia, del negozio e di un'incredibile vista panoramica dalle sue stanze e dall'esterno (Deck & Terrace). Un'altra possibilità è quella di intraprendere il sentiero di montagna, di media difficoltà attraverso un sentiero boscoso, con punti panoramici naturali, ricco di panorami incredibili che termina al punto di approdo.
Una volta tornati a bordo, continueremo la seconda parte della navigazione fino a raggiungere Punta Bandera, dove l'arrivo è previsto per le 16:00 circa. Successivamente, per coloro che hanno scelto l'opzione con trasferimento, il ritorno a El Calafate è previsto per le 17:00 circa.

Great boat trip. We loved the Glaciers and the lunch venue. We booked on Vaitor and there was a big mess up somewhere between Viator and the tour company. We were told 830am pick up at our hotel. We received a call at 7:30 AM to ask why we were not ready for pick up. We caught a taxi to the jetty which cost us US$60. The tour company confirmed they would refund us and after requesting a refund, they denied the refund on the basis that there was a confusion over the ticket, even though we received two reminders to pick up at the hotel at 8:30 AM. My advice is that you take great care when confirming whether you are booking a transfer or no transfer and what your subsequent pick up time is.
It was exceptional and well organised. Everything went to plan and was on time from pick up to drop off.
We were picked up by a combi from the hotel, very friendly. They took us several km to where we boarded a boat, a sublime experience, the front of the glacier is something indescribable for the extraordinary, the very good explanations, when you return they wait for you and leave you in the afternoon night at the hotel. Boat trip where you can see the glaciers in the distance, but it is like seeing them on the walkways and it is free... I prefer the excursion where you will touch the glacier with the blue safari. Amazing tour! Beautiful navigation across the lake, passing by the Upsala Glacier and the Spegazzini Glacier. On the way we can see icebergs that have broken off and the images are surreal! Pay extra to stay on the top deck! It is worth it! The place where we stopped for lunch also has a wonderful view!
